Deep wrinkles 8 days post TCA peel

I had very FINE lines on forehead that were not noticeable unless u looked close. I did a “test” TCA peel of 20% on just forehead to see how well it worked on me before proceeding with treating cheeks for Melasma. It peeled a lot. Then it became red/itchy/dry and burned but still seemed ok. It looked quite nice at first then it got tight again and extremely dry so I kept it moisturized with Hyaluronic Acid and face cream then later added hydrocortisone cream. It now looks AWFUL. Skin appears drawn together or “pinched” all over and wrinkles now r deep and extremely noticeable. When I did peel I neutralized and washed and moisturized as soon as it frosted. I didn’t think TCA could CAUSE wrinkles. I researched extensively prior to attempting and felt I was capable but now I think WHAT HAVE I DONE?!?! I’m getting botox to hopefully relax the muscles (I’ve been getting Botox for years) in 4 days. Can TCA peels cause wrinkles? Can the underlying skin reveal past skin damage rather than showing improvement? I dont know what’s wrong with my skin now and am so worried. My skin is naturally dry. Please advise, someone.
