I suffered chemical burns under my eyes and mouth

ORIGINAL POST

Chemical Burn from an Improperly Performed Chemical Peel

I had an Ultra Peel 1 chemical peel at the Phoenix Skin Spa, owned by Lee P. Laris. His employee didn’t properly administer the peel and I suffered chemical burns under my eyes and mouth. The areas under my eyes became very dark and looked like bruises. A blister developed and started bleeding. I looked grotesque for a month. I went into the spa a week later and couldn’t get them to help me. They finally saw me a month later. This spa has really bad customer service and is irresponsible with handling a high concentration of acid that they place on their client’s faces. I’ve had chemical peels before and never had any problems. I believe that his employee didn’t evenly neutralize the chemical peel. I don’t recommend using any services offered by this spa. It’s too risky. I’m looking for a new place to get treatments done.
