Three weeks out

Well it’s been three weeks (well tomorrow) and I couldn’t have asked for a better gift to myself. I am beyond thrilled with my results in every aspect of my life. My pants are still a bit snug but since a lot of my swelling it going very down now I can tell maybe in a while they will become a bit looser. I have been living in dresses and since I have never worn a dress and felt decent in it I love wearing them now! Even people at work have been impressed.
I have no more pain, and I am just using tape over my scar (doctors’ orders) and change it whenever I shower. So far my scar has looked amazing the bumpiness has decreased and it’s just a thin red line. Hopefully soon I will start using a cream to minimize it.
I have been only wearing my binder during the day. I sleep with it next to me just in case but I have noticed it still helps and for some reason I just feel very comfortable in it still. I figure my body is still adjusting to this new flat tummy and needs some extra support :)
Happy tummy tucking everyone!

Well It's been two weeks since I changed my stomach for life! I finally wore pants for the first time today. Granted the days not even half over I think I am doing well in them. The swelling has gone down a bit that people have noticed my stomach is no longer there. I see my surgeon today and he is going to be putting some surgical tape over my scar that I will be able to massage gently for a week and finally be able to put some type of treatment or something over it. Anyone have any suggestions?

Well it's been one week now :) got my drains taken out on day 6 and holy crap! I have never been more comfortable :)
My drains didn't hurt at all to be removed I didn't even know they were removed till she told me. I also went back to work which I have a desk job and I do a lot of walking around. It's been going well.
I get very sore around 4 and tired and want to go home and sleep. Sleep has still been hard just laying on my back I can't wait till I can side sleep!
No regrets and I will be carrying on day to day :)

I couldn’t say anything more kind about my doctor. Jeff Smith from Chelmsford Ma has been nothing but excellent. He has helped me throughout the entire procedure even when I called him at 10pm because of the leaking drain site. I highly recommend him to anyone in the Mass area. His price was excellent for the amount of work he did on my body. I can’t thank him enough for changing my life!
