I have PCOS, and after high school, the increased hormones grew my boobs three cup sizes in three years. I was a B in high school, and had no issue with them. No I am an F and I have back pain and neck pain all the time. I can't exercise without my back fatiguing right away. I live on meds and on a heating pad. I am scheduled for Surgery on 9/21/2015. I wish it was tomorrow.

By now your surgery is in the past and I hope you are doing well. I am a size H but afraid to have surgery. I have severe disc problem, back neck and shoulder pain. Have an appointment for a consult begin I g of November. Would love to hear of your experience when you feel up to writing. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Let me know any questions you have! I am two weeks post op now and feeling pretty great. The only soreness I have is on my sides where they do lipo to contour. Tylenol is sufficient for that. Every day I feel better. Good luck!

Hi Auntiel, Don't let your back problems interfere with your front problems..I have a terribly bad back having had two failed spinal fusions and two laminectomys' ..I live with an internal morphine pump, that's how bad my pain is..I was a saggy, weighty DD with neck pain, upper back pain, shoulder grooves, the lot..My GP said that a reduction/lift would be the best thing I could do for my health..I had mine in April and although not perfect (my boobs are soft and squishy not firm at all) it is still the best thing I have ever done..I look much nicer in tops and can go bra less if I want to..Please don't throw the towel in, give it some thought..If I can be of any help just ask...❤️

Thanks for your reply. Every time I second guess myself I put my hands under my breast and lift and feel the immediate relief in neck and shoulders. So I am now scheduled for BR/BL with lipo under arm area on 11/30. What did you use for bras post surgery? I'm at a loss as to what to buy. Also any suggestions for anything I will need after surgery? Hope you are doing very very well by now enjoying your new figure!

I saw a response to another of your posts regarding ice or cold packs. My Dr said no to me because it inhibits the blood flow for fastest healing. I posted extensively in several places regarding my preparations and hope they might help. I'm in Genie Bras, Coogie Bras, Rhonda Shear, and a fruit of the loom cotton. The FOTL is skimpiest but I love that its a soft breathable cotton. I needed way bigger sizes after surgery than I ever would have thought--due to the swelling and the fact that I like to put the bra over a soft cotton shirt (then I put my regular shirt over that. That said, not sure purchasing ahead of time is wise unless you can find some cheap --the FOTL is $10 -- with the option to exchange if the size is too off. I'm loving my results (3 weeks post op) still taking pain reliever, back to work at 1 week --light duty part time, healing nicely but still itchy. I've used ultra soft scarves to wrap around my chest under bra at night (for added comfort and compression). And I had a bed "wedge" to elevate me while sleeping and its been perfect. All the best to you. So happy I did this!

Thanks so glad you are pleased with your outcome. The bra info is helpful I will purchase a few in different sizes. Also the wedge was suggested by another woman with whom I've been in contact. I will definitely get one. Thank you and continued good health!

interesting you have pcos. I grew up with it . And I developed very large breast too. My pcp said most women with pcos have small breast, I dont believe it, my daughter who has pcos has large breast too. good luck to you on your reduction journy. I am almost 3 weeks po. The first week is a killer, then it gets better!!

Best of luck! I'm going from a G/G+ to a "C" as well Sept 29th. Hopefully goodbye to pain, heating pads, and expensive/ugly bras!

Hope you are doing well. I have heating pads in the bedroom and the living room, hopefully they can be put away for a long time!

So far, so good! Sleeping has been my biggest annoyance (belly/side/fetal position sleeper!) Glad to see you're healing well, also! (My drains were a pain, as well!)

Good luck with your surgery! I had mine yesterday and i can so tell the difference in my back and shoulder pain. I went from a DDD to supposedly a C(obviously still swollen). I cant wait to take the bandages off tomorrow and see them.

I have been healing without problems. Pain is well controlled. I just hate sleeping on my back!! The drains were annoying, but no big deal. Here are some pics.
