Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I am under going a breast reduction and uplift on 16th March and to say I'm nervous is an understatement. However, this is something I've longed for since I was about 18. I am currently a 34E and would like to be C/D. My breasts cause me major discomfort, shoulder and neck ache and make me very body conscious. I can't begin to imagine what it would feel like to have small, pert boobs and wear clothes I've always longed to wear.
Any advise for after care would be much appreciated, including sports bra recommendations? Also, is it true you often end up healing around a size larger than you ask for, as I really don't want this? I don't want to be any bigger than a D? I also worry about my breast a looking boxy? I mean I know they're never going to look perfect but I hate the thought of them looking boxy?
Again any advise much appreciated :)
Thanks for reading.

Hey Lizzie, I am three weeks post op...went from a 34DDD to a full C cup. Expect to be very sore the first week or so. You will not be able to do much and will need help for the first couple of days. Ice packs help alot with the pain and swelling. I a still very swollen and is been three weeks. DO NOT get dissappointed with size of your boobs after surgery, they will go down, in the last week, mine have gone down alot. I got measured last week at Soma, bad idea, and they told me I was a DD..I was like WHAT!!!...but I was just measured again and down to a D..and I am still very swollen...hope for the end product to be a small C. Either way I am happy..I too suffered from back, neck and shoulder pain. Yes the recovery is long, but in the end, so worth it. Also take note, that is will be difficult for you to stand up straight...a couple of weeks after surgery be very conscience of that...I have to make myself sit up straight....there is a tightness after the surgery that you start to hunch.....just something to be aware of. I ordered bras from Marena.....They are very good and do not sit under the breast. Good luck and speedy recover...YOU GOT THIS!!!!!

Aw thank you so much for your reply. I decided to tell the surgeon I wanted to be a c and not c/d. I just couldn't bare the thought of coming out of surgery and still being too big. Plus I plan to have children one day and know my breasts will naturally get bigger when this happens. Didn't want to end up back at square one. I'm feeling pretty good in regards to pain right now but I'm guessing that only being 24 hours post op there is probably still some anathestic in me. But I've really felt no pain at all yet just a little sore under breasts. I'm so glad your op went well, it's always great to hear success stories!

They didn't tell yu don't have kids

Sorry?
March 5, 2017
Did they tell yu not to have kids after wards because they told me not to have any more
March 17, 2017
No they didn't tell me this. My surgeon reccomended giving it at least a year before conceiving but I don't plan on having children for a few years yet :) in majority of cases you can still breast feed too!

Hi Lizzy, can I ask what made you decide to get them done now, as opposed to waiting until after having children? I want mine done too, but I'm concerned they'll be ruined after pregnancy!

Welcome - I had mine on February 22. The healing process will have your breast be all kinds of shapes. notary and smurfette are the ones to follow for care. They both have fantastic outcomes. Good luck

Just wanted to check to see how you're feeling. My surgery was on Mar 8th, and I'm feeling quite good. I suspect you're still in a pit of pain & feeling sluggish. Rest assured, that will past soon and you'll be looking back on this as one of the better decisions you've ever made.

Hello, thank you for your message. I'm actually feeling great. I haven't really experienced any pain, a little soreness but that's it really. I already feel like it's the best decision :) I'm so glad you feel this way too!

Nearly 24 hours post op!

Small boobies at last! I had my operation at around 5:30pm last night and I cannot tell you how good I'm feeling about it already. Looking down at my chest I can't believe they are mine. In regards to pain, I have honestly felt none at all but I'm also aware it's early days...and taking it easy! From what I can see my surgeon has done a great job, again early days but they certainly look good from what I have seen. I had a tiny bit of bleeding in the right just after my surgery last night but this appears to have stopped and the nurses/surgeon were not too worried about this when they checked me over this morning. I'm a little paranoid about haematomas, as I've seen some reviews that have mentioned this. Keeping an eye out for any unusual swelling, pulsing or heat coming from either breast. I had no pain relief at all after coming out of surgery. I felt a little nauseous when I woke up but the nurse gave me an anti sickness injection and have felt fine ever since. My breast feel slightly sore underneath but really isn't too bad! If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask :) I'll update again in a few days with hopefully another positive review!

Dont wear a wired bra too soon. Also I have hard lumps as well. Hipefully it will go away over time. I was in pain but doing alot better. Just remember give yourself proper time to heal cause I hear alot of people had opened up in areas around the beeast from doing to much too fast. Enjoy!!
