Scar update.

Just a quick update on my scars. They've started to turn slightly white already :D I can't quite believe it. I'm just over five weeks post op and I have been very impressed with my scars from the off but I kind of expected them to turn red at some point. Don't get me wrong they are still a mid shade of pink but I can definitely see they are starting to fade already. I have been using bio oil for the past two weeks and I have to say I feel it has made a difference. I never really believe in anything like that but I had some puckering around my nipples and in other places and within days of massaging my scars with bio oil they had completely gone. It could have just been time healing, but I strongly believe it helped! My scars felt kind of bumpy before but they are now completely flat and you wouldn't know they were there to touch. Still so over the moon with my results. Good luck to anyone about to start their journey :D any questions please feel free to ask xx

They look amazing! Do you have any idea what technique your surgeon used?
April 22, 2017
Aw thank you so much! I believe it was just the standard anchor method! I should know that shouldn't I lol, but I just trusted my surgeon knew what he was doing x

I'm so happy for you!! Wish I had the courage.. I have to ask, if u don't mind, Are your nipples numb?
April 24, 2017
Aw thank you so much, that is lovely! Yes they are a bit, this isn't something that really worried me as I figured it was a small price to pay. However my surgeon is confident I will regain full feeling in time xx

Your boobs look so amazing! Do you mind if I use them as wish pics? I probably wont have a reduction surgery for a few more years at least, as I'm afraid to do it before having kids...
April 24, 2017
Of course not! Thank you so much. I did think this as I am getting married this year and plan to have children within a couple of years but I figured if I had children with the way they were than they would be a lot harder to correct in the future. Where as now I feel like I'm back at square one if that makes sense. They have a fighting chance lol!! X
April 24, 2017
At least once I have children I'll have an excuse for them not being perfect lol!!
April 24, 2017
Could you share your surgeons name please? They have done such an amazing job and i am so nervous to do this!
April 24, 2017
Thank you so much. Please don't be nervous. My procedure was pretty much pain free with only a little soreness so there is nothing to worry about there although I know everyone's experience is different. Satisfaction results for this procedure are also amongst some of the highest so bare that in mind. My surgeon is Dr Mark Solomos. And the hospital is The Harley Medical Group. Good luck :)

Side view!!

I love this view :) I think my surgeon did such a great job in not taking my horizontal scars too far up my side and they are so well hidden under my boobies :D

I cannot believe that you are only 26 days post op, you look amazing, I'm 41 and have been considering a breast uplift for 5 yrs, I come on here day after day wondering if I will ever get up the nerve to book the operation.
I live in the North West of the UK if I lived nearer you I would book your surgeon without a doubt.

Aw thank you so much! I'm super happy with my results, my surgeon is a genius and I cannot reccomend him enough. Good luck if you decide to go ahead with the procedure x

Where has the time gone?! Can't believe it's been nearly one month since I had my BR. It's gone so fast!! I can honestly say it is the best decision I have ever made. I feel like a different person and my body confidence has improved no end. If you've been following my journey then you will know it has all gone very smoothly and I really hope it continues to do so. I'm so happy with my results, my surgeon is a genius. Obviously I still have days where I look at them and have little hang ups. But in the grand scheme of things they look amazing and it feels so good to be in small pretty bras with no shoulder or neck pains :D They have dropped a little now, which to start with I was concerned about as I loved the extra pert swollen boobies I had but they are still nice and pert and look much more natural now. I fit perfectly into a size 32/34 C which is just amazing!! I probably won't write again for a while as quite honestly there isn't much more for me to say. I've started putting a little bio oil on my scars now and using my scar gel from the surgery. I do this twice a day with a little massage too. Scars are looking great considering how long it's been but again I believe this is down to my fabulous surgeon and his sewing skills! I can sleep on my side again now which is great and have started to do a lot more physically. I'm going to start back at the gym next week, gentle exercise to begin with though. Trying to think if there is anything I've missed...I don't think there is but obviously if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask. I am more than happy to answer. And good luck on your BR, I wish you the best results x

Aw I hope it is too! Good luck and thank you :) keep us updated!

Lizzy can you please tell me the name of the scar gel you're using? I wanted to know after your reduction were your breast pointy in the beginning? My right one is and seems to be dropping a little after 3 weeks. I know I shouldn't be worried especially when my Dr reassured me I would see changes every week.
April 13, 2017
Hello, the gel I have been using is Dermaquest Stem Cell Rebuilding Complex. It was very expensive, my nurse reccomended it. I'm starting to think that maybe she was on commission lol! I can't find much about it online however she really upselled it to me. I'm giving it a go but also using bio oil as I've always heard great things about that. I haven't really experienced any pointyness I would say mine have been slightly more boxy at times but they seem to change every day! I just keep reassuring myself it's all part of the healing process. I think we have to remember we've been cut open and that the scars holding us together are probably all still pulling quite tight so we won't see our finished shape until they settle :) I hope this reassures you a little. Give it time x
April 14, 2017
Hi yes thank you so much for your response... It's a lot more reassuring hearing from others who have had the same procedure done.. I'm sure when all is said and done we both will be happy with our end results.. Good Luck
