Bad filler by Dr. Anwar
I was referred to Dr. Anwar by one of his customers, Shauna Fox, who is gorgeous and clearly has had a lot of work done. She had an event at her business and was lured by the prices, location (close to my job) and her referral. This "doctor" and his assistance were so unorganized and were in no rush to keep a schedule. My appointment was at 10am and wasn't seen until 10:50!! I was his first victim of the day also! I had a gut feeling this was a bad idea. Why did I ignore it? I should have left right then and there!
I went in to treat my dark circle under my eyes and he said I didn't need that and said I needed Botox and cheek filler and smile lines. I was perplexed but he was very convincing. I'm so stupid! I listened!
Fast forward, I sitting there not feeling much then it's done! He hands me a mirror and my cheek area look pink but nothing else looks different. I said "did you put filler in my smile lines?" He said "yes but you should get filler in your lips so you can tell!" WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! At that point I just wanted to leave! There was NOTHING placed in my smile lines and my cheeks were lumpy. He said it would go away! I was immediately feeling sick to my stomach and anxious knowing I made a HUGE mistake! Goodbye 2000$ hard earned dollars. I went to my car and started hyperventilating!!!
Over the next week I communicated with him and his "staff". The response was basically, pay more money to get it fixed!!!!
This has been a NIGHTMARE!
I had to go to my original practitioner (he's an 1.5 hours away and I was looking for someone closer- bad decision) to dissolve the lumpy filler and put filler in my smile lines.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be aware of this guy. He's just not experienced and is NOT looking for the best interest of his patients. His bottom line is $$$$. This has really stressed me out and affected my self esteem.
