Well I was trying to add more than one photo to my review, but apparently Realself is having issues with that at the moment, so I was told to add the rest of the photos to this update instead. These are from November through March.

I'm curious, what's your job? All the cool dressing up
[RS bleep] and nightlife performer
Woah that's really cool. Do the implants feel uncomfortable?
Thanks :) the only time I ever feel them is if I've slept too hard on my side, otherwise, I don't notice them at all.
May i ask how much projection your implants added? Like its dimensions and if its possible to upload pics of your custom implants/ct scans etc. Thanks and you really do have a kind of surreal look!
Thank you! :) I actually do have some paperwork with the dimensions drawn up somewhere. I'll scan them in once I find them. I do know they're double the size of the XL implants I previously had.
You should get that pillow by Nurse Jamie called Beauty Bear Age Delay...love it! It's shaped in such a way to allow your cheeks not to be crushed into the pillow while sleeping. I have it for my cheeks, I did voluma filler. I want to do cheek implants eventually.
Oh wow THANK YOU for that! That's exactly what I need! My wife and I were actually joking about cutting a whole in a memory foam pillow for my cheeks lol this is a much better option! ;)
Hi, you are very striking. I'm glad you are happy with the implants. Did you get silicone custom or a porous material? What about the first set too? I have been on a long cheek implant road too. Had silicone implants put in that were not fixated with a screw at age 23. After 4 years I was hit hard in one cheek and the implants dislodged from the pocked. I had them revived 3 years ago at age 31. I have significant erosion of my zygomatic arch on the side that sustained the trauma. Now that cheek is sagging medially and has no projection. I had a fat transfer and upper facelift 8 months ago but it did not fix the saggy cheek issue. I'm trying to find a surgeon to either do custom implants or coralline hydroxipatite. Trying to decide on silicone or porous ie porex or a similar equivalent. I will look into Dr. S. How long were your first set of implants in for? Thank you!
Edit: had the implants REMOVED 3 years ago. Not revived.
Hi, I'm so sorry you've had such a traumatic experience with this! I have silicone implants now, and the pair before this were also silicone. They were in for almost exactly one year before I switched them out. I highly recommend Dr. S he's been really great in helping me to achieve the look I desire, and he has a lot of experience with cheek implants. Best of luck with your journey! Please keep us posted!
Thanks hon. I've checked him out a bit but will dig deeper. Dr. Niamtu also seems to do lots of silicone malars. I also want to investigate coralline hydroxipatite. But so far I've only found BC Mendelson and he is in Australia. So that's out.
I'm still hoping to find a doc who has experience with it in the US.
Nikki, did your cheeks ever recover after hydralause?
Wow what a bold unique beautiful look. It's very daring but you pull it off really well . wqw
Was the second surgery easier than the first?

Cheek Implants With Dr. Slupchynskyj Round 2!

You know what they say, go big or go home! Please see my previous review for info on my first cheek implant procedure.
After one full year, I had decided that my size XL implants weren't as big or as dramatic as I was hoping for, and so I decided to go back in, and this time, have custom sized implants done. The first set was too natural looking for me, as I have always been going after a fake/alien-esque aesthetic. I booked with Dr. S again as he is excellent with facial work, and seems to understand the look I am trying to achieve. He worked very closely with me to figure out the exact dimensions of my new implants. I feel like I'm in the best of hands with him when it comes to any and all facial procedures.
As I type this, I am almost 6 months post op, and I feel as though I have finally achieved the perfect cheek structure for me! They're large, very noticeable, and yet, they still seem to fit my face perfectly.
The recovery itself was a little rough this time around, mostly due to the fact that I ended up with a terrible oral thrush infection just days after surgery. I believe this is no fault of the surgery itself, just a bad combination of being on corticosteroids for my sinus issues, coupled with the antibiotics from the surgery. Ironically, the infection pretty much dwarfed any discomfort from the implants themselves. It was also better going in a second time knowing exactly what to expect from the recovery process firsthand. I should mention that Dr. S was super helpful with my oral thrush situation. He texted with me at odd hours of the day and night, and was able to prescribe me further medication which cleared that infection up quickly. It's great to have a doctor who is available at all times, and I'm very grateful to him for that.
I plan on returning to Dr. S in the near future for more facial work, and can't recommend him enough for cheek augmentation! Best on the East coast!

How long did it take for you to be able go out in public without looking swollen? I am also looking into a revision Bc I got extra small and want bigger ones for more projection but taking off too long from work is tricky. Did you look normal enough to go out after a week?
Hi, I was still a little puffy at one week, but normal enough to go out. I didn't bruise the second time around, so that also helped.
Thanks! Also what was the custom implant process? I want height fullness and projection and may consider going the custom route as well.
Do you know how thick your custom implants were?
how many mm were your implants? im wanting something dramatic too
Do you have MEDPO implanted in your zygoma? Or other materials?
Is it silica gel or MEDPOR?
