I am 33 111lbs and 5ft5. I had twins 5 years ago weighing 6lbs 9 each and I went full term. I am only petite so the sizes of the babies stretched me to the max.
I have wanted this operation for so long as my stomach has shattered my confidence. I was a stone heavier back in October, but when I booked the procedure I made it my mission to get to the weight I was comfortable with and get to my best fitness so I started working out too.
I am so excited for the operation and have no nerves. I had my pre op today and I now have two sleeps till the big day!

Day before the operation
We have turned one of the bedrooms into a mini apartment to aid my recovery. I have a mini fridge, kettle and microwave in there so I can make my own meals and not have to move to much should I struggle. I have bought a lot of low calorie but high protein ready meals and lots of prepared salads. I want to keep on top of my calorie in take as I have been used to burning off so many calories and I will soon be doing no exercise so don't want to pile on the pounds. I bought a few new pj sets including two button up the front night shirts for the first week or two so it's easier to take on and off.
I can't believe how excited i am about the operation and I am hoping I can cope with the sitting around after as I am a very active and impatient person ha ha.
I have a holiday booked in Dubai in April where I hope to wear a bikini for the first time in 12 years....

Hello
Well done on working so hard to get where you are now. Your preparation should at least keep you healthy.
I hope the surgery is successful today and wish you well for that.
When you're recovering, and taking it easy, you'll be able to think how good you'll look in Dubai with every part of your body being complementary.
I wish you well for a successful recovery, and take your time over it.
