Almost a month, seeing results

Things have really started happening the last week or so. After the swelling subsided it felt like there was a hard dense bit of flesh deep inside, I think this was the damaged cells because that's gone now and I'm thinner...

And I've gained a little weight. I workout a lot so have gained muscle too, but I've eaten a little poorly recently and gained a few pounds. Of course 3 pounds on a body my size is barely noticable. I blame all the recent birthday cake.

I can definitely tell my lower abdomen is thinner, and if results will still be coming in for another two months I can't wait. My flanks were done a week later so I guess the are lagging by same. However it will be interesting to see because they used the curve applicator on my flanks and my flanks never hurt as bad. Maybe they won't give as good a result.

I have residual numbness still. A vague loss of tactile sensation, but no pain or discomfort anymore.

Looks great! Keep up the posts. I just got coolsculpting done on Tuesday and it feels like you said..an inflatable tube around my stomach and super numb. I'm nervous for the nerve pain on day 5..I'm going on a three hour hike on day 5, do you think I'll make it through with the pain?

I never stopped activity except running (bouncing up and down, and stairs were rough). I went rock climbing and walks and bowling, all fine. A mild hike shouldn't be too bad.

Any update to your progress? I'm fighting the exact same thing you are, wondering if you felt the procedure was worth it? Thanks!

Day 2 flanks, day 6 abdomen

My flanks dont hurt unless something really hard pushes against them. They feel like two big inflated pillows. Overall I feel like I'm wearing an inflatable tube around my midsection. I'm definitely not wearing belts and am choosing loose pants to wear.

The nerve pain is still very intense on that one side. It gets set off when sitting or bending over. Standing and laying is usually okay. I think I just got unlucky. The left side is fine, but this spot an inch down and to the right of my navel is home to one pissed off nerve.

My flanks may be big squishy pillows but my lower abdomen is getting harder and denser. Not squishy swelling anymore. I'm not sure what that means.

Day 5 on abdomen, day one for flanks

Gawain
Had trouble sleeping for the first time last night. This one nerve on the right side of my lower abdomen is very angry at me. It has gotten progressively worse throughout the day. Driving or sitting is nearly unbearable, every once in awhile it just flares up randomly and feels like I'm being stabbed by a light saber.

So because of this I popped a vicodin this morning before I went in to have my flanks done. I had 4 total rounds, two to each love handle, again by Erica who is awesome. It took 3 hours and 15 minutes from walking in the door to walking out. Overall it was much more comfortable and less painful than the lower abdomen. It could have been the vicodin, it could have been I had more fat here than my lower abdomen, or it could just have been my unique physiology.

The swelling on my lower abdomen is much reduced.. but that nerve pain is driving me nuts.
