Second revision rhino
I just spent a massive amount of money on a second revision rhino. This time I went to a Australian college of surgeons accredited fully qualified plastic surgeon. My nose is an immense improvement and I'm l happier. Couldn't convince the surgeon to do things more Greek but will asses in six months. I had to again fly to Sydney for this. Being from perth and not knowing a single person and having to pay for accommodation is very hard and I've had a very hard time. The amount of money spent was humungous.
All the gortex has been removed from my nose thank goodness. All existing cartilage was reused. The surgeon I want to was lovely and very good at what he does.
Still upset i had to have another rhino. It's been a traumatic experience having three nose surgeries. I wouldn't wish this upon anyone.

Hey I'm happy that the third surgery has been an improvement. Can I please ask you ended up doing a revision with? I need a revision and there doesn't seem to be many options in Sydney . Thanks so much for any advice

I saw Warwick Nettle & from what I had to what he gave me was a HUGE improvement. Unfortunately me being me, I couldn't leave well enough alone & went overseas to do a "final tweak" & I ruined his work. Back to square one. Have you consulted with Dr Nettle at all?

Appointment with third surgeon.
I'm seeing another surgeon next month in Sydney about a third operation. I've seen one in Perth. I probably will choose out of the two. I find the world of rhinoplasty gone wrong in Australia at this site for very fickle and unsupportive in regards to Australia patients. I had my time wasted twice by two females at this site who wanted to talk when it suited them and wanted support when they needed it but weren't very giving. One went onto see a Dr I plan to see and has given no updates despite the fact she's probably had surgery by now. Women can be very bitchy. Especially at this site. People close up in their shells.

Yeah, searching for the right revision surgeon while living with an unacceptable nose can be physically and mentally draining. I can totally relate. Stay positive and strong dear. The surgeon who can help you achieve that beautiful looking nose is "right around the corner"! Best wishes for your consultation in Perth next month. Hi, I feel very deeply for your problem because....it's my problem too though I live in US...But just want to tell you that in this life it's inevitable to bump into insensitive people, but you MUST ignore them and go on with your search despite your previous bad luck (which most of us encounter too). Keep up searching and you'll find a doctor that inspires you respect and trust. I am. Best of luck! :o)

I had my third revision surgery with Dr Andrew Greensmith in Melbourne. I would have to say I couldn't be happier with my results. Prior to seeing Dr Greensmith I was depressed with the state of my nose but Dr Greensmith has resolved every issue I had and I feel like it's a dream when I now look at my nose in the mirror. The man is a complete gentleman and a genius at rhinoplasty.
