A close up of my incision as requested
WORTH IT$5,538
This was an inbox request. I am assuming my front incision is darker and bigger because I had two c-sections in the past.

I don't know if I am still swollen, have a little serum, fat or impatient.
Here are my updated pictures. I don't look as small as I had hoped, but maybe time will fix that.

I am having my surgery with Dr. Beasley who is with Charlotte Plastic Surgery on June 5th. Nervous and anxious at the same time. Can you tell me what supplies are needed for after the surgery that would help.
Love your pictures!!!
Hi Olivia! I'm not sure exactly what is needed. My pre-op is scheduled for June 24. I haven't had my surgery yet. I think you were referring to @fromkellytowilliams...
sorry about that.
It's okay but please let me know how your surgery goes. Good luck!
A gown that opens in the front, a in house helper for two days to help you around, and to feed you, a recliner, and all your prescribed meds. That's all I can think of. The assistant will also inform you of what is needed. I bought a gown from Walmart. Yes, it was granny style but it was perfect. Good luck and swift healing :)

I made it through week one, but I am so afraid of...
I made it through week one, but I am so afraid of just sitting on the couch, and doing nothing. I am doing light house cleaning, but I am on my knees half way through vacuuming because of back pain. My stomach is really tight and making it hard to tell when I am full. Before the tummy tuck my stomach gave signs when I was full. I feel nothing from my stomach now. I am using my fitness pal to count my calories, but they give me way more then I am comfortable with eating without working out. Before the tuck I would also workout the extra calories, but I can't. I am still eating the calories I am use to, and I am becoming afraid. I am allowed 2200 calories a day on my fitness pal. I usually workout after 1200 calories. I am so tempted to walk on the treadmill tomorrow. I want to cry because I don't want to ruin my investment.

Glad things are going well! I'm glad you're feeling well enough to vacuum and what not but you should probably be taking it easy ;)
yea, but it's very hard for me to do just that. I am use to being active, and when I am not, I eat out of boredom.
oh and Thank You :D
At just 1 week you should be taking it easy still. Don't worry about exercise yet...there will be time for that. First you need to heal. I'm 8 weeks p.o. as of yesterday and just went back to the gym for the first time this morning. Just watch your calorie intake & get lots of protein to keep the hungry feelings at bay (it also helps the healing). I have a protein shake at least once a day. It's kept me from over eating on the wrong stuff. But even if I did gain in some places during my 8 weeks of down time, I'm healed and ready to work it off now. The key is to heal first & you need to give your body a break to do that.
Thanks for the information. I will look into protein shakes.
My surgery is scheduled for 2 July with Dr. Mantooth. I am very nervous and just want the best results. You look great! Your pictures made me feel more confident in his work. Can you post some recent pictures. I want to get an idea of how my stomach might look in a month.
Yes I will. I had planned to awhile ago but I keep forgetting, and I wasn't sure anyone was still interested lol. If I don't post a picture by the end of today remind me. I have a busy schedule right now however, I don't mind because it only takes a second to take a picture :).
Thank you. I feel better about myself all around now that I had the extra cut off. He is a very polite and caring doctor. His anesthesiologist put all my worries to rest when I told him I was nervous. I only remember walking to a room and waking up. It was annoying at first being so dependent on others, but after the first few weeks it was a cake walk. I posted the pictures for you. Remember individual results do very. Your getting the liposuction as well that's a good idea I wish I would have.
Thanks for posting your pictures. You look good and your scar is healing very well. I hope that the lipo will help because I want a flat stomach. Some doctors are as aggressive as others but you won't know until you get it done. I'm going to make sure I let him know my concerns and expectations. Results do vary but paying the kind of money as we are, I expect the best results!! I'm so nervous and July 2 will be here before you know it. Thanks again for showing me your pics!
Anytime :) I wish you the best, and thank you again for the kind words.
I have an appointment with doc mantooth for surgery this coming Thursday , I am so nervous and worry . Let me know how u do. Thanks
