Hi All! Dr.Finical completed my revision on 9/2/2015. He removed some extra skin and performed liposuction in several areas. The revision was a lot better than the original Tummy Tuck. I took a total of one pain pill and have not taken any other pain medications (including OTC) since the day of surgery. I am returning to work tomorrow at 6 days post op.

Another Post Op

So went for my post op. I'm not 100% happy with my results. Doctor wants to see me back in Fall. He said we could do a revision in Fall/Winter. He could have removed more from my obliques and I have an indention on my right side because of that. Anyway, he says it will still be an outpatient procedure but will require less down time. I hate to go through surgery again but I am not going to be happy with my results until it's fixed. My next PO is 10/7. I will provide a update then.

Do you have to pay?

According to Charlotte Plastic Surgery's policy and an agreement I signed, it states that I can have a revision within one year of the surgery date with no fee from the doctor. I do have to pay for the use of their surgical facility ($350/hour) and anesthesia ($400/hour) He believes the revision will only take an hour, so I'm looking at $750.

If your not happy then I would say go for it. How are you feeling physically? You look great.

I feel great, just in secure about the problem areas that were left behind. The reason I had such an invasive surgery in the first place was to get rid of unsightly skin and fat that I couldn't on my own.

Almost 4 months post op

Hi All,

I hope everyone is well and enjoying their results. I will be 4 months post op on Friday, 4/17. As I stated over a month ago, I see an improvement but I am still not 100% happy. I'm not sure if my PS will recommend another procedure in June when I see him but I am extremely unhappy with my flanks. I imagined a tighter contoured look when I went in for surgery. I have a dent on my right side next to my incision. Although I am multiracial and prefer a curvy look...my flanks are too big in my opinion.

I don't feel like I'm swelling at all. I feel 100% normal. No pain, no swelling from what I can tell. I haven't felt swollen since February.

In my humble opinion, you look great! But, I'm surprised at how much skin you're able to grab. Besides, if you're not happy, I definitely think your ps should know about it and hopefully come up with a plan you can both agree to. I remember you mentioning concerns about your tummy during planks, too. Have you asked for any notes that your ps took during your TT?
