11 Days Post Op

Life has changed since getting my drains out! My muscles are really tensing up and giving me a problem so I'm waiting to hear back about getting more muscle relaxers since I'm going back to work tomorrow. I can shower now and am loving it although it's still a struggle washing my hair.
Good news is though that I had to order a size smaller garment already as the one I have is already too loose!
Here is an after shower pic from two days ago. I had bought these panties last year hoping to be "sexy" but they made me look crazy because my fat poked out thru each opening haha. Now, they look fabulous already!!! Can't wait to see the end results!!

Drains are history!!

So, I've done great as far as swelling and bruising compared with my last surgery. I'd strongly advise anyone having surgery to take Arnica and Bromelain and even Tumeric to help reduce swelling and bruising!!

The most painful part of this whole process was hands down having my drains removed yesterday. I went in thinking it would be uncomfortable but when the nurse initially clipped the stitches off and tried to pull gently neither drain budged. She had me lay back and tried again and apparently both drains had clots in the ends causing them to hang on for dear life lol. Once they popped loose they finally came out but OUCH. Everyone is different though so hopefully those of you reading this won't have clots and they'll slide right out.

My left breast which required the pocket repair has been bothering me on and off, mainly with an intense stinging pain if I move my arm but it's manageable.

I've been really trying to get plenty of fluids in and eat as much protein as possible but I've hardly been able to eat (which I've never experienced after surgery, usually I eat a LOT) but hey I'll take it haha.

Nothing else to really update yet. I did take off my steri strips as directed by my Dr and began using my scar cream yesterday. It felt nice to finally be able to take a shower!! I've also already had to order a size smaller binder since my swelling is rapidly going down, and I'm now five pounds below my preop weight!!

I haven't updated in a long while. I originally...

I haven't updated in a long while. I originally had a Brachioplasty and Breast Lift with 350cc silicone moderate unders with Dr Beasley at Charlotte Plastic Surgery in November 2016. Immediately when my swelling began going down I noticed my left breast implant would fall nearly into my armpit when I would lay down. I was told this can be "normal" which I know by just looking this wasn't normal at all. My surgeon just didn't want to fix the issue since he cut my pocket too wide. I was very displeased by his lack of integrity so instead of arguing with him about messing up my left breast I waited six months and found another surgeon to correct the issue.

I found Dr Gear at Providence Plastic Surgery and after consulting with him (great bedside manner and is very down to earth!) that we would do a pocket repair and go with bigger implants (we went with 600cc hp silicone unders) in order to make my breasts look fuller and better overall. Also, I decided to go ahead and have an extended tummy tuck with lipo of the upper/lower abdomen and hips. My surgery was this past Monday the 19th and I can't believe the difference when taking Arnica and Bromelain post op!
After my first surgery my entire left side of my body was swollen and severely bruised (even though no work was done on my sides just my breasts and arms). Even after lipo and an extended tummy tuck, my swelling is definitely minimal and bruising is hardly present at all! I will update more later!
