My eye lashes grew longer but my eyes became very odd looking dark and sunken. due to this I've discontinued use so I was a waste of my money and I hate how it looks. I'm attaching a picture before I started use and one after. In the afte picture I have also tried to conceal the darkness with make up it I still can't get it back to normal

How long did you use it? I have been using it for about 8 months and haven't had any problems. There are some reviews where people stopped using latisse and there hollowness and redness went away. Good luck to you.

I've only been using feb until now... It's a known side effect but not everyone experiences it

Your pictures look like long time (age) interval between. The second one your face is fuller than the first. Perhaps the darkness/sunken due to aging, weight change rather than the Latisse

Sorry that the changes have occurred as side effect of product. Hopefully in time the changes will reverse since you're not using it any longer. I also used it many months without a problem, but some people have side effects, allergies, etc. from medications and others don't. I also wish the best of luck to you.

Thanks yes they most likely will reverse from everything I've read today I really put a lot of whitening around my eyes and they looked better.. That's for the well wishes

how long has it been since you discontinued it? I stopped many months ago but the dark circles are still here.

Makeup helps hide the darkness

Got a tan today and added a lot of white concelor after seeing yesterday's picture and how dark and ugly my eyes have gotten. I had noticed them getting darker but I was in denial because I really wanted my lashes to look great. I've read it will reverse in time and this doesn't happen to everyone. I did feel like I should warn people if your eyes start getting dark stop because it just keeps getting worse.

I quit using latisse after I noticed my eyes looking hollow and sunken. This side effect of latisse is called periorbital fat loss. Long lashes were not worth having old looking eyes. I stopped using it in August about 8 months ago and my eyes have gained most of the fat back. I have read about quite a few realselfers who have had the same side effect. Just not worth it.

Yes I agree I see some improvement but I guess it will take a while to get back to normal. Who notices long eye lashes with all that mess going on. Certainly not worth it

I have been using it for over 5 years, and after a year or so, I too noticed the reduction of eyelid fat...for me, almost 70 yrs old, my eyes became more youthful, looking somewhat like a fashion model's sculptured eyelids, and I really like the look, my eyes are less age-puffy, ...so I guess this effect can be either a negative, or positive...

I have had the hollow sunken look as well after using latisse for year. Will stop now and hopefully see an improvement. I'm curious how old you are? And has anyone heard of anything you can do to get the fat back around the eyes?

I've thought about that how long do they last? My eye lashes did grow so they are longer but they don't get thicker and of course the dark eyes made it not worth it... They are longer now though

The dark sunken look happened with me using generic Latisse. I stopped using it and with in a couple months your eyes go back to the way they were.

Hey! I have a question. Did you use the Latisse on your brows or on your lower lashes as well? I’m wondering because I’m having the same problem, and I’m hoping that is the cause.
