My fat transfer is today—both nervous and excited! After having explant with a fabulous doctor in Atlanta, I waited 4 months to see how I felt. After having implants for 26 years, it was difficult to let go of how I felt in swimsuits and formal clothes. I found Dr. Bednar on this site, also checked the medical boards of NC to reassure myself that he would be my best choice. Although I may not look it, I'm very active and the recovery period feels daunting. We will see!

Could you share your Atlanta explant surgeon? I am on the hunt and so far not satisfied with the consultations I have had...
Congratulations on your explant and for waiting 4 months until your fat transfer. I'm guessing the 4 month wait had it's ups and downs. Where will you be getting the fat grafted from? Hope your surgery goes well today. Looking forward to your updated!
