Well my turn to write a review! First off, I have so appreciated reading everyone's reviews on this procedure for the last 2 yrs, so here's mine gals. I have had implants for about 15 yrs. I thought that I needed them but from the first day I felt like a part of me was gone. So I couldn't hardly believe it when I heard two yrs ago about the success with breast fat transfers. I have been saving and waiting my turn, until a couple weeks ago. Yay, got those implants out of me!
I used Dr. Bednar because I felt he was the most experienced and successful with this procedure. And so far, I feel that is every bit true. I didn't use Brava because I already had room in my breasts from the implants. From the moment I arrived at the Dr's office, I felt completely taken care of by everyone I met. Sylvia, his wife is so sweet, she took care of all my details just like a mom. Sandy in the front makes you feel like an old friend. And my nurse, Ashley was so nurturing she put me right at ease ~ and she made me laugh the whole time! Everything was explained to me in great detail by Ashley and Sandy (another Sandy) the anesthesia nurse about what exactly would happen and what to expect. Dr. Bednar was very thorough with me too and told me what I could and couldn't expect. I could tell he was the kind of doctor that was meticulous with detail and I felt a real trust with whatever he recommended.
I didn't get nauseous after the procedure but I won't lie, it hurts. Maybe a 7/8 out of 10, but the meds knock it back to maybe a 3. At about day 3, I felt I turned a corner and started feeling semi normal. He was able to put about 480 in each breast. I was about a small b before implants. I'm not sure what size I am, I have just been babying my ta ta's in a genie bra. I'd guess a large C? Maybe a D? He lipo'd my stomach and thighs. And I only have 5 incisions very well hidden. I think he was really tasteful with the lipo, you can tell he is an artist. And for the first time my breasts look symmetrical! I'm only a little over a week out but so far I am SOOOO completely happy I did this. My boobs and thighs are still pretty bruised. And I'm fairly sore when I get up and down. But nothing that would stop you from going about your regular life. I feel very grateful to everyone who took such good care of me at the office. And to have such a excellent doctor to do the work. I am so happy to finally be on this side of my boob story, YAY!
