1month Post Op Today
I drove for the first time yesterday with 2 pillows. Although I am walking without pain sitting is where I struggle most. My hips hurt so bad i can only sit about 10-15min before the pain sets in. Overall I can see a difference &my clothes fit so much better. How long did it take for you to be able to sit without pressure?
8 days Post op
Yesterday I had my drains taken out. I thought it was rather quick, but I didn't have large amounts or different amounts drained anyway. Doc said I was healing well and should return next week for my stiches to come out. Since, I been in a lot more pain lately. I know the drains were a big issue but since they have been out I have tingling sensations in my implant area.
Each day gets better
After having a few meltdowns these last few days; yesterday evening & today was the 1st time I felt able to function. Peeing in the cup made things much easier & today was the 1st time showering with no help. Tomorrow is my post op appointment; however I had to call the surgeons office this morning because one of my ports is sliding out. I confirmed with them that it was still suctioning into the drain. Had it came completely out I would have needed to come in. I just added more tape to the thigh to keep it in place. Hopefully there will be a good report tomorrow.
