This site has been invaluable to me as far as information, motivation and support so I want to do the same for other women out there considering this procedure and share my experience. Dr. Bednar and his ENTIRE staff are beyond amazing!! I have never in my life met a group of people that are so compassionate, skilled, knowledgeable and work so seamlessly together. From the initial consultation all the way through my recovery process they have been wonderful. I honestly cannot say enough good things about the great doctor and his team. My procedure included a removal of 6 year old implants and fat transfer from back of thighs and flanks to the breast. So far I am thrilled with my results I finally look and feel like my natural self again and that is an amazing feeling.

Wow what amazing results. I too have a similar situation and will have it done once I'm done nursing. Can I ask what size you were before implants? And if you one w how many cc's of fat he put in? And the cost for everything? Thank you! And your photos are very helpful! I know this is becoming a big thing for us women to rid ourselves of these things and it helps to see real results! Thanks!

Such amazing results. I am considering this operation. I am worried however that the lipo will leave me Lumpy/cellulitey. I met a girl that had an op in syd and when she put on weight her stomach started to look as though it had deep craters in it. Like bad acne scarring. Can u tell me if u have noticed any of these symptoms? Jess

Also can u tell me if u also had a breast lift at all? I'm also considering doing this

I had a breast lift at the same time as I had my implants put in 7 years ago. And as far as lumpy craters, no I didn't get any of that. I will say I have not been strict with my diet and since taking it easy and not working out hard I'm about 5lbs heavier than my normal and still there is no weird issues or lumps. I feel like Dr. Bednar is very conservative with the lipo so that minimizes the chances for craters. Hope that helps.

So this is really difficult for me to do but considering how helpful it was for me to see other women's pictures I'm going to post mine. This is me right before the surgery. I had 290cc smooth saline implants placed under the muscle 6 years ago along with a lollipop breast lift . Since then I had a baby and breastfed (with much difficulty) and my breasts became deformed. One implant sat way higher up on my chest-pretty much from day of surgery-while the other kind of hung out of the pocket. After having my child I must say that my values and priorities changed drastically. I no longer felt comfortable with these heavy bags inside of me. Nor did I think I was going to be setting the right example of how to accept and love yourself while filled with plastic. So after years of research and many consultations I decided on Dr. Bednar and booked my surgery.

So on January 5th I went in to have the implants removed, had lipo of flanks and back of thighs and had the fat transferred to breasts. Dr. Bednar released some scar tissue in both breasts and was able to put in 660cc's in each breast. When I first saw my breasts 24 hours later after taking the ace bandage off I was very surprised. They looked humongous! But I was beyond thrilled to have the hard ball of the implant gone. Yay!!!! Implant free at last!!!

Thanks for sharing your story as I am researching the same thing for me. I want to get my 5.5 year old saline implants removed and have fat transfer as well. Did your surgeon do an internal lift and muscle repair before the fat transfer? I just don't want any deformity of the pectoral muscles when flexed as with the implants.

No lift or muscle repair as I wanted to keep all of my natural skin and tissue during this procedure (especially considering I've already had my breasts lifted at the time of implanting-before nursing my last child) but he did release the scar tissue that I had built up in my breasts and everything seems to be healing well and smooth so far. At this point I have no deformities (especially if you compare to my breasts with implants) and if they end up saggy I'm very much ok with that. I just want them to be natural again.

Thank you for sharing your story. I want to explant my 300 cc's , under the muscle, silicone implants and possibly get a fat transfer . Were your implants removed inblock or did you have your capsules removed as well?

Hi I'm very happy for your end result. They look great. I'm having my surgery on May 10th and I can't decide what to go for implants or fat transfer. It's been very hard for me since almost everyone I says go for implants but I don't know why for some reason I don't feel right about it. Please explain why you're happy that you took your implants out? Was it pretty when you first got them and also how come the Surgeon who did them for you how come he didn't offer you anything. Please help me out choose the right thing here as no one else seems to be listening to what I really want. Even at my consultation I felt like I wasn't sure.

never add a dead fake plastic to ur boobs believe me i swear it was d worst mistake of my life ..they cause over 100 auto immune responses ur body hates something foreign inside it a plastic..dont believe drs...come to fb meet us @ breast implant illness group
March 3, 2017
Wait, you can release scar tissue? That is possible? I'm just curious because although i don't have implants or anything, one of my boobs is acting weird. It kinda looks like what doctors call capsular contracture. But like i said, i don't have implants nor have i had surgery. I think i injured my boob some how. :-/
Sorry i digressed though. Anyhoo, the docs can get rid of that? Wow!
Also, You look fabulous! Great job the doctor did. :-)
