It has been 5 weeks since my surgery with Dr Bednar. I Started my review for days after but never got around to posting it. I have kept a detailed journal so will share my experience in retrospect to bring you up-to-date.

It’s been 4 days since my surgery and I’m feeling pretty good.
I arrived for my surgery at 8 am . After meeting with Joel the anesthesiologist
And deciding on the best meds and procedure ( I am a diabetic and I can’t deal with most pain meds ) They hooked me to an Iv and wheeled me into surgery , next thing I know I woke up in recovery .
We stayed at the Hampton inn South Park and took the shuttle to and from surgery.
I don’t remember much after getting into the shuttle but waking up in my room in immense pain.
I am allergic to most pain pills and can’t take anything with Tylenol because of my glucose monitor so I had to use dilaudid .
There was a mix up on the pharmacy and the Walgreens doesn’t carry it, so long story short I did not get my dose of meds after I woke up and was in tremendous pain for two hrs... it was brutal !
After I finally got the meds I slept Most of the day. About 4 hrs after surgery I was coherent and with the meds felt “comfortable” enough to stand up, use the bathroom and check out the Ta ta’s.
They were huge !!! He put 520ccs in each breast harvesting from my thighs and love handles.
Day one and two I had little bruising which was cool, but the bruises started the develop on day three and continue to darken as they healed
The craziest , grossest , part was how bloated and swollen my body was. Not many ppl that I followed shared this part of their pictures but my body was unrecognizable to me.
My knees were non existent and my thighs were so swollen I couldn’t even put my feet together , and my torso... it was so swollen . Lol
I hate pain pills but am glad I listened to my mom ( my nurse) and stayed on a 4 hr regimen. It was crazy how I would wake up about 2 mins before the alarm went off for my pills. My body knew it was time. They kept me calm and sleeping with crazy funny dreams ...
I iced heavily on my legs and lower back which ached a dull acing pain. the ice helped a lot !!!
Another hard part was having to sleep sitting upright . All I wanted to do was lay down. I found the hotel chair with ottoman and stack of 7 pillows to be the most comfortable for me . Also elevating my legs helped with my swelling and was much more comfortable . The hotel staff was very sweet with my pillow request!
I drank a ton of water and kombucha and ate a lot of pineapple day one.
I also ate smashed Sweet potatoes and edamame. I didn’t have much of an appetite day one.
The first night I walked a few laps around the hotel room which felt good to move.
Day three we took a walk to Walgreens and I was sooooo miserable because I hadn’t pooped in three days.
Walking helped but the thought of eating and being in public was miserable.
I bought some purple saline magnesium in a bottle that you drink to try to help me poop. I drank it at the restaurant with a glass of water ( we went to Cow Fish restaurant ) which btw is AMAZING .
Within 5 mins of drinking it , my mouth was sweating and it took everything I had to make it to the bathroom before I puked my brains out.
You can’t bend over so throwing up standing up was awful. ( sorry this is grossly detailed ) after puking twice I felt a little better and went back to the table. I ate a little bit of food and then felt the urge. Finally I pooped and man I felt like I lost 10 pounds in my whole body! in hindsight drinking this potion should've been saved for once I returned to the hotel. lesson learned.LOL
No more pains meds for me!
If you can take Tylenol you can probably get by with that after day three . I took Valium at night to sleep and used ice packs . overall I was more uncomfortable then in pain.

Day two I took a shower ( with my garment no bra in tepid water ) it felt amazing .
5/29/18
Day three we walked to the mall and bought some new sports bras. I also tried on some evening gowns that I was bursting out of . Lol. I am probably a d cup now .
It’s so funny to see the stares that I have never experienced. Like a floating torso of [RS bleep]. Lol.
Oh yeah , throat lozenges helped a ton too. My throat and chest were really sore from breathing tube.
i was really happy we stayed a week in hotel post surgery and I had someone to take care of me, help with Ice packs, getting the garment on and off etc..
5/1/18 ( 6 days post op)
I had my post op today and everything looked good. I can finally see a trace of knee caps... lol. I am still sleeping sitting up as it makes my boobs hurt less. And I prefer the chair for comfort and it keeps me from rolling over on my side .
My [RS bleep] itched like a [RS bleep]...and my nipples are so freaking sensitive. We found a hairdryer on COLD setting actually softened the nipples and felt amazing .
5/2/ 18
I flew home today. I bound my breast with an Ace Bandage and no bra. I wore a tight overshirt. I told the lady at TSA about my surgery because all the clasps set off the xray. She was very careful patting me down and impressed with my tatas..LOL
Bednar’s staff is awesome .
Kendall is so sweet ! Sou and Sylvia are Amazing . They were all so personable and fun and helpful .
So far I love my boobs. Even though they are zombie [RS bleep] ... lol.

5 weeks out and i feel great. I love my results and Bedar said I have great retention and shouldn't expect to loose much more, which would be great.
It is a mind trip for sure. They feel smaller as they drop and soften but measure the same. I am loving the shape they are taking.
we thought I had a start of an infection and started 10 days of additional antibiotics about a week after surgery. It may of been more inflammation as the skin is very fragile. I finished the antibiotics and no signs of infection! i will check in at the two month mark!
sorry the pics are sideways i tried to fix to no avail..

6 weeks today! Half way! Not much has changed. They are getting softer and dropping a bit. They ached last week. I had a busy weekend/week going to shows and dancing and all up tons of stairs . I don’t think it affected me too much . They feel smaller when I grab them but they measure the same and till burst out of my 34d bra !!

7 weeks today. No change. My right breast still hurts and feels hard where the discoloration is. I don’t think it’s anything to worry about me will heal in time.
I think the discoloration and hardness could be from my arm rubbing against my side boob. I’ve been in Florida for a week. I was worried about traveling and coming somewhere hot and lower elevation, but it hasn’t changed anything . I bought a new bathing suit . Large top and small bottoms. That’s never happened. Lol... Also tried on some bras . The yellow one is a 34d. It’s been really fun going out and wearing different types of clothes that I could never eat before . 5 weeks left and I will be at the 3 months! Although I don’t think I’m going to lose any more.
