i have always hated my breasts. since puberty, they've always been saggy. i was never interested in larger boobs, but just wanted well-shaped breasts that i felt confident about. after reading reviews and doing tons of research, i decided to go with dr. edward bednar's fat transfer procedure. he is one of the few surgeons i found to perform this procedure with consistently strong results. i'm hoping my results are as good as those i've seen. i live in another city so i sent pics in to the office and had a phone consult with the doctor. he seemed to take a very natural approach, and answered all of my questions. i was a bit nervous as i've never had surgery before, but decided to move forward. i'm 1 day post op and so far very pleased with the results. i'll try to keep this log updated. i hope they help someone just as much as others' reviews have helped me!

One week post surgery - Healing coming along. Not sure how I feel...
cespritJuly 30, 2016
It's one week post and slowly getting back to normal. The doctor said he put 525cc in each breast. There's been light bruising on them but they are coming along. They are much larger than I expected, so curious to see if fat reabsorbs over future weeks.
Overall I like them. I realize I'll never have naturally super perky typical breasts, but mostly I'm pleased. They are filled and aren't sagging as much anymore. They stay where they are whether I have the bra on or not :). And all done without use of implants, which was important to me.
However, I'm concerned about the lipo. Prior to the procedure I had a nice little butt. Will need to find before photos. Post surg, my butt seems way flatter. I'm pretty disappointed as I just wanted to enhance one body part, not lose another. I have read that banana roll lipo (under the back of the thigh, where Bednar typically takes some fat), is tricky bc it can leave your butt a bit droopy if not done properly. Sigh. Of course I didn't read this until yesterday as I was on a hunt for answers. I feel like I've just created a new problem instead of
solving one. Not a good feeling.
The office says I really will need to wait until 6-8 weeks when swelling starts subsiding to judge results, and the standard for lipo is a full 6 months. So...I guess it's a waiting game.

Ha! My bum has definitely gotten flatter post surgery too. I think its the garment and having to sleep on your back for weeks on end. I asked Sylvia and she says just wait.

Thanks for posting and sharing your experience. I'm considering this procedure too. I lost 2 cup sizes when I lost 40 pounds. I miss my double d's!

Yeah totally. I will say I've learned some things along the way and wish I had prepared a bit better. Sounds like you are doing your research so that's awesome. I'll keep my progress updated. Best of luck to you!

How are you holding up? The shape itself is an amazing improvement considering you've had just a fat transfer compared to the usual uplift, implants, etc.

Thank you so much! I'm about to start posting my journey with pictures. Dr. Hughes in Beverly Hills is the one for me. I've decided on a BBL and moderate breast implants just to eliminate the saggy and deflated appearance. They only look bad when I raise my arms, but my man likes to raise my arms during... well u get it. lol!

Wow, they look amazing! Your pre-op breasts were also nice. I think you had a good foundation to start with, thus your spectacular results. I just found this site and appreciate so much you sharing your story.

You look fantastic. You looked good before and good after so you can't lose. We are our own worst critics. You honestly look great!!

Three years post update: Results OK but not worth the cost
cespritJuly 26, 2019
The good news: Body shape has fully returned to normal (including my butt!). Originally had a little numbness around my flanks but that’s all fine now. Oddly, when I gain weight I feel it there first. It’s hard to explain but nothing concerning. The point is, your body may feel a bit different after lipo.
The less-good news: As for my results, I’ve changed the status to “Not worth it”. Breasts were great for awhile but have started returned to their previous shape and lost some “perk”. And I’ve actually gained some weight since the surgery so...there’s that. Overall, the results are at about 40% of what they used to be. Still better than what I had before but not worth the $11K price tag. So for this reason, would not recommend.

do you have any current photos you'd be willing to share. they looked incredible in your one week pic. would you ever considering doing a second round? I've seen lots of women get the results they want the second time. I'm not rich, so I'm not sure if I'd ever do it, but I'm seriously considering this surgery and would be delighted to get your initial postop results

did you have to gain a lot of weight to return the fat to your butt? dealing with the same
