2 Week Post Op

$10,501
So it's been two weeks already and the healing is going pretty well. I went on my post op appointment yesterday and Dr. Bednar checked out how everything is healing and they helped me take out the stitches. So now I'm starting to apply scar cream on the incision sites, although still taking arnica religiously and applying it on the swelling. The bruises are much lighter and finally going away! I'm excited since I'm going out of town in two weeks so I'm looking forward to not having to cover them up.
The size is starting to go down with the swelling, and it's funny to notice it going down faster on the left side. I know it's nothing to worry about based on other reviews, but I kept wondering if I'm seeing that difference in size right.
The swelling is still there as well as the numbness, but my lower back is not bothering me any more as it did before. I realized at the post op my Medium sized compression garment was too large on me now so now I'm wearing some Spanx I got on Amazon in size Small. They were a little hard to pull on and I do miss the zipper and the crothless gousset.
The face graft is going amazing, I am SO happy I decided to add that on to the breast graft! Dr Bednar showed me where he injected the fat and I didn't realize all the areas he put it (like also my chin to contour my face better), but I told him before that I totally trust his opinion so I am very happy! He only injected 24cc so that explains why there was so little swelling and bruising in the face. I hope it all retains, but for the face I guess it wouldn't be too difficult of a touch up.
I am starting to miss the larger size, since I know it'll keep going down, but even if I have 1/2 cup increase I'll be happy. I was measured as 32B before procedure so I'm hoping for final result of 32C. Still waiting for everything to settle down so I can figure out what the final outcome will be!

You look great! I also used arnica daily, and I think it helped. My bruising lasted about 3 weeks, but that would be awesome if yours is almost gone already! Happy to hear you like your facial grafting too! I'm thinking about that in the future since it's a long-lasting natural filler.
Yours pre-op look the most similar to mine that I've seen so far and i would be so happy with the way you are progressing right now! You look great! I hope the recovery continues to go nicely for you!
I'm sorry i forgot to ask, how much fat was taken and put into your breats? I want to go up in size but i don't want to be too big and your size post-op even with a little more reduction in volume than you have now seems pretty perfect.
I hope you keep updating about your results :)
Hey how ru going? Ive lost a lot of volume more than you at 2 wks. How ru
How has your retention been since this pic?
updates please?

1 Week Post Op

So it's been almost a week and I'm feeling a lot better. I've been doing chores all day and trying to stop myself from going too fast so I don't burn the fat from the boobs! My face is still pretty swollen which is not noticeable but My speech is still a bit impaired because it's hard to open my mouth all the way since he injected all around it and I'm the top lip.

The bruising on the boobs is going down, but my inner thigh is still pretty beat up. Right now most of the uncomfort comes from the numbness in all the lipo area and the giant bruises on my thigh, but it only bothers me while getting up and down. Now I'm mostly concerned about getting around in this compression garment in this heat and getting some compression type clothing I can wear in a few weeks (just ordered some high waisted fabletics sport sets, and spanx plus more Large size Gennie bras on Amazon).

I know things are still pretty swollen and I'm expecting some decrease in size soon, but I am enjoying this size while it's lasting! So far the healing and the results are going great.

PS. Downloaded an app called Mips for censoring the nips, also 5 star rating!

They look mint!!!
Dont know why all of that reply did not go thru. U look fantastic so happy 4u and u r doing awsome withur bruising too! Wow?! Getting excited. Its ok if u dont want 2 share but may i ask how heavy uwere at procedure?
Must have forgot to mention! I'm 5'4" 120 pounds, about the same now weight wise I think. Good luck with your procedure!
Congrats - you look fabulous! Dr. Bednar & team are just the best, hands down.
Thank you!!!
I'm very happy for you! And I would like to have it done too but maybe I don't have enough tissue of my own to weave the fat in, if In only knew! Good luck for your further recovery
Thank you! I would call in and give them your measurements, that's the only way to find out. Dr. bednar seems to do a great job in smaller sized patients! But if you're looking for a large increase, prob better off with implants.
I already skyped with Dr. Bednar, at first he seemed to be quite confident but later Sylvia told me I might be not satisfied with my results ... Hope you will be

3rd Day Post Op

Sorry I've taken so long to post he review, I've been resting a lot and spending time with my mom who flew down to take care of me after the surgery (aka spoiling me).

The surgery went great! The whole staff was amazing throughout the process, Joel the anesthesiologist was super calming, Kendall the nurse during the surgery was very nice and even braided my hair (which I vaguely remember asking her to do after the surgery), Dr. Bednar was as usual very straight forward and to the point, which as New Yorker I can respect, and Sylvia ordered lunch for my mom who was waiting for me to get out of the surgery. The only painful part really was not being able to find the vain for the IV in my left hand, but after that everything went smooth and before I knew it Dr. Bednar marked me up and I was asleep.

When I woke up I was extremely thirsty and Kednall gave me two Gingerales with straw (a straw I reused for days cause my lip is still swollen from the fat graft) and pretty quickly after they put me in the car to go back home. The drive to where I'm staying is 1.5 hours and went pretty smooth, I slept most of the way. I didn't have a soar throat or nausea like I was warned about, the pain was bearable just mostly an uncomfortable feeling.

For the first 24 hours most of the discomfort came from the tightly bandaged chest, but it started to go down a lot after I took off the bandages. I didn't have any gauze pads, so I put arinca on the bandaged and thin panty liners until my mom went out to get some. The liposuction areas are painful but it only hurts when getting up and back in bed, otherwise they're not bothering me too much.

The pain in the breast area finally went down all together after about 48 hours, they are just still flattened out to two big domes, which is what I expected. They look great though, I wasn't sure how big if an increase I would want, but now that I see it, I hope most of it sticks!

I've been taking all my meds as prescribed, but going pretty light on the pain pills and the Valium, only taking those as necessary. My mom has me on the meds schedule, and it is so helpful to have her stay with me for these few days, it would be very hard to do this without her.

I used the ice packs for a while. I actually ordered some good ones on Amazon which never arrived on time, so I wrapped two big packs which I get from Blue Apron in flannel pillows and those worked great. I try to get up and move around pretty often, usually when I go to the bathroom which I do a lot since I've been drinking so much water. Sitting on the toilet was a bit rough in the beginning, I tried to use the Go girl device which I ordered due to someone else's review, but ummmm.... I probably should have tried it beforehand cause it didn't work very well lol. So I've been padding the toilet with towels and such to make it more comfortable.

The constipation is deffiniaty an issue, but I've been taken Colace stool softeners and took two Sena laxative pills so finally went to the bathroom yesterday after that.

Going to take a shower soon in the garment and finally see the liposuction areas, can't wait to see how that area looks like, I will keep posting pictures of the progress.

Hey! They do look nice wahoo! Thx for the info x im doing this with dr B in a few days. Slim like you. Where did u choose ur sites from? Eeeek bit nervous about that.haha just when ur upto it. Ur doin great gal
Ooh ooh 1 important question.. how are your lips? And how were they before hand? I too are considering a graft to them ! But not sure . Sylvia suggested id have a filler but i wouldnt bother..unless it was permanent.. anywho just if u can be bothered tho.. ;-)
Take care!
Hi Boobconshuss, well Dr. B basically chose the fat grafting sites for me, except he was going to go for inner thigh if he needed more but I asked him to go for my stomach. The lipo areas are still pretty beat up, but if you're getting enough rest and doing all the right steps the recovery is not too bad. I would definitely suggest getting all your food ready, getting some arnica pills, a foot wedge pillow from Amazon was super helpful, gauze pads, stool softener, dial soap, and sena pills.

The lipo sites are still a bit numb and swollen but they look great and make my the sculpting around my butt is amazing. I would just let Dr. B pick it, he really knows what he's doing.

So for the lips I decided to just go lightly on my top lip, they injected the fat right in the line between the red and skin. They are still very swollen and im still talking funny. They never really hurt though, but look great. I'm happy I made that decision, which was also a last minute call. I figured since I'm doing this recovery I might as well get all of it done at ones.

Dr B also went into my forehead, nasoloabial folds and suggested doing the cheeks which I never considered but the sculpting really does make my cheekbone stand out more. Let me know if you have any more questions, good luck with the surgery, I'm sure you'll do great!
Well that look amazing keep us posted!
Hi there! Do you have any pics of your facial fat grafting?
Hi hollyonose! I don't want to put any on here, but it does look REALLY good. It's still very swollen and I'm talking funny because of my lip lol, but I am very happy with the way it turned out. Dr Bednar did a very natural job and once the swelling goes down I don't think anyone will even notice, so I'm very excited!
Aw man! Haha I've been wanting to see FT to the face that he doesn't... how did he put it in your forehead? Did you have scars or something you needed to be filled in your forehead? Super excited for your final results and thanks so much for the very detailed review!
Yes I had four scabs on my face for about five days, easy to cover up with makeup if necessary and can barely see where they were now.
It was two above forehead and two on the sides of my mouth
I mean Teo above my eyebrows*
How many cc's did he manage to puy in?
He put in 520 ccs in each breast!
So gurl, thats so exciting for you! Ur making me excited! Lol with regards to your lip...was ur top lip thinner than your bottom one? Has it widened the red part or is it have the protruding effect instead? Lol sorry im just so interested having it done. Is it definitly noticeable youve had something done 2 ur lip in the 1st few days? X so happy 4u lol
Yes it was a little smaller, not too bad but I figured I'd put a little in, I think they overfill it because in the lip area not as much fat survives due to all the movement. So you should expect for it to be very swollen for probably a couple weeks, and you might talk funny for the first week. Once the swelling goes down I don't imagine it's going to be very noticeable. It's not exactly protruding but I guess it looks like it widened the red part a bit, although the didn't inject the fat there but in the line. Overall I was hesitant, but strongly recommend it as long as you have enough down time for recovery cause it's harder to hide!
Good 2 know!! Hmmm... feeling vain... lol damit! Want it aswell now. Did it cost very much? X
And thanks so much your feedback is so awsum!!!!! Hows ur boobs doing anyway?
He was going into my face anyway so he didn't charge for it, but the face did cost quite a bit. I'm very happy I made the decision to do it though, definitely worth it!
So i will ask for everyone ... HOW R UR BOOBS!!!??? LOL
Just posted my -almost- 1 week review!
