Reviews you can trust, from real people like you.
How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

This site has been what's gotten me through the past few weeks of this experience. I've literally spent hours reading reviews and browsing pictures for a better understanding of life with two special additions - now it's my turn to share!

I'm 24 years old and on a whim decided I wanted a fuller bust. I was a B, sometimes a C on a great day, and decided on 375cc's. I am now post-op day 9. First day back at work and I'm feeling exhausted. It's like I have 2 anchors attached to my chest - I stole away to the bathroom multiple times today to make sure they hadn't gone all wonky on me. I've found that the 5 pound weight limit per hand isn't ideal for day to day life...groceries, a computer bag, bowling (how many times a year do I get asked bowling and it happens this week). This bra leaves indentations in my boobs and by the end of the day I have to let the girls out for a breather and some sunshine...imagine wearing a bra for 9 days straight!

So some of the things that I noticed or have experienced during and after surgery that might help someone else in their journey:
1. Extreme nipple sensitivity - its like a teething baby has been gnawing on them. They are still sensitive to the touch, even fabric is uncomfortable against them.
2. Extreme tummy bloating - I looked about 4 months pregnant the day after surgery up until about 2 days ago...slowly going away as i've been off of my pain meds. Expect to look like a hot mess for a few days. Between the bloat and inability to lift your hands up to do your hair, you won't want to leave the house.
3. Speaking of leaving the house - anyone who says they were out shopping and lunching with friends is crazy. It was almost 4 days before I could walk around the block. I looked like a hunchback trying to keep my chest up.
4. Fatigue - I slept 16 hours straight on day 2. It's day 9 and all I could think about at work was curling up in the fetal position.
5. Go ahead and buy or have ready a weeks worth of button ups or zip ups. It's difficult getting anything over your head. Sweat pants are your friend - Just wait until you have to pull up a pair of leggings after sitting down on the toilet. Ain't gonna happen.
6. Warn your caretaker that they will be seeing all of you. Yeah that's right, completely naked. That junk better be neat and orderly before surgery cause errbody is going to be seeing your kibbles and bits.

That's it for now. I've attempted to post a before and after shot. Not high quality but who wants high quality pictures of their [RS bleep] online right?
