It had been my dream for the past few years to have B/A as I've always been small chested but became more deflated in recent years--perhaps from breastfeeding my two sons 19 & 20 years ago. Even though I work out, eat healthy and am generally happy with my body, I felt like part of me was "missing". Not anymore. I love, love, LOVE my breasts more than I ever even imagined! I wish I'd done this a long time ago! Clothes fit so much better for one thing, but now I feel "complete"--and I love how I look. I am glad that I took time to research physicians and practices. My best friend recommended the Hunstad Kortesis Center in Charlotte (after her B/A several years ago) and the entire staff was beyond professional and caring--I couldn't have asked for better experience. They exceeded my expectations on preparing me for B/A---medically, psychologically and practically with helping me prepare not only for surgery but also post-surgery. Dr. Kortesis does truly amazing work and was so very helpful, caring and professional. I was overwhelmed with choices but he spent time with me asking questions, looking at photos, etc to help me determine---and help him understand--the look I wanted for me. While all the staff is the best you can imagine (a wonderful mix of qualified, professional and personal/caring), one of the staff members, Alexis, was particularly wonderful and I so appreciate all of her help and patience with my questions! It was also very convenient and comfortable that they have their own certified surgery center in the same building as their office, with their own anesthesiologist, nurses. I have also been impressed with their follow up, required check ups, etc. Early on, they provided so much helpful information and allowed me to come back as often as I wanted to try on sizers. This helped me because I was so nervous about having surgery that I nearly backed out--which is funny now because I would do it again in heart beat. It's the BEST thing I've ever done just for myself! I wish I had before pics, but perhaps I can post the ones taken at Hunstad Kortesis later on--I was nearly completely flat, but now, at 10 weeks post op, I was measured at a bra fitting as 32DD or DDD in some styles and am thrilled. In the first 6 weeks or so post surgery, I went back and forth feeling they were too small--or too large--but now I think they're absolutely perfect and fit me perfectly! I am SO happy and give the very highest recommendation to Dr. Kortesis, the staff and facilities of Hunstad Kortesis Center in Charlotte, NC. The best anywhere!
