4 months and really happy!

It's officially been four months at this point - back to my normal life of working out, push ups, lifting my kids, drinking, and not worrying about getting hit in the chest. I'm thrilled with it at this point. With the combo of lipo and fat transfer, I'm feeling really confident and I look the best I have in years. I also love that no one would ever know because it looks so natural and normal. I've been rolling the one lipo line on the back of my thigh to try to make it go away. I think it's helping a bit. Just glad everything seems to be stable at this point. I still need to get officially sized but I do think I'm a small 34 C which is great - it's a one cup increase. Overall, so glad I did it.

So glad you're still happy! Congrats on getting back to real life. Somehow I was crazy enough to do it again- had my second round on Monday. But so excited my doctor got 280ccs in each breast this time so I'm thinking this is all worth it! Just dealing with my first week of recovery right now, and it's not too bad like last time, fortunately. Again, so happy for you! You look beautiful!

Oh my goodness! I can't believe you did it again! As much as i can't imagine having to start the recovery over, you'll be so glad you did because you just weren't fully happy with the amount of ccs the first time. Hopefully this will be what you envisioned or closer to it. Take care and I hope the recovery keeps going so well! Fingers crossed. And thank you. I really feel great.

3 months!

Finally hit the 3 month mark and can't wait to resume life as normal. I updated my review to worth it. While it's been sad and frustrating to see the fat that I've lost over the 3 months (I was definitely a C cup after the swelling went away), when I actually look at where I started to where I am now, I'm thrilled. He did a great job - no one would ever know I had something done. I wish I had had more fat to transfer so that I might have ended up slightly larger but I think I look SO much better than I did before and I'm a respectable size. I'm probably still a 34B, just a large one as opposed to barely being able to get a B before (I probably was an A and just didn't want to accept it!). Comparison pics front and side as well as pics from today. I also am now a size 2/4 whereas before I was a size 8. The lipo was definitely a perk of this.
My scars seem to be healing really well and are not incredibly dark which I'm happy with. I actually used a leave on silicone scar pad for most of the time. I still have some tingling in my breasts and my lipo areas. Mostly one side of the lipo. I think (hope!) that's all normal at this stage.
My only small grip is that on my right butt check, I have a weird line where it looks like a double chin almost. I'm not sure if anything can be done about it. I don't think it's incredibly noticeable but of course I notice it. Pic with arrow to line.
Overall, it was worth it to me. My breasts look normal again (even if it's only by one size - it's a significant improvement because they got filled out), I'm slimmer in my waist and thighs, and I don't have a foreign object in my body that I'll need to worry about in 10-20 years. I would definitely do it again although I might have tried to gain a pound or two before going in just to have more to transfer in the beginning. I'm really muscular so even though I'm not rail thin, I just don't have a ton of fat. But hey - I'm happy with where I am and now I just hope that this is permanent and I can enjoy life again. Drinks on me!

I'm so happy for you, and you do look awesome! Such an improvement! I just updated my review to "worth it" too since the improvements are worth it, but I did get a lipo side effect as well. Sorry you have that line (I got a small divot on my thigh) but I think we are both fortunate that it's not noticeable. I have small gripes as well but overall happy like you! For my divot, I'm going to try massaging and cupping, which may help it as well as my cellulite. You could try massage, but you look amazing and don't have to do anything. I don't think anyone would notice unless you point it out! Enjoy your well-deserved drinks! And congrats :) so cool to go from an 8 to a size 2/4 too!

You look so great! Time to enjoy your life again :) May I ask your measurements? How tall are you and what was you weight preop? I'm asking because I would like to enjoy my life more too, after a treatment by Dr. Bednar, but I'm very skinny and muscular 5'6" and 120lbs. Thanks for sharing

How long did it take for the bruising to go away?

One month down (two to go!)

It's been a month and things seem to be stable. I think I lost the most between weeks 1 and 2 which was probably mostly swelling and it seems like things have been stable since. I think my right breast looks a little bit smaller than my left but not at all angles. When I measure them from armpit to breastbone, they come out the same so it just might be how they're starting to fall naturally.

Lipo areas are still sore and numb. My lower back especially is numb a lot. I'm really looking forward to that part being over! I know I can switch over to spanx but I actually like the feel of the garment and I'm still wearing it until it gets too hot here to do it.

I can't WAIT to really exercise again. Going a little crazy with that. Anyone have suggestions of good workouts to do in these next 2 months? Also, can't wait to drink! But still taking collagen (drinking bone broth or putting it as powder in a smoothie), eating a lot of protein and greens, and drinking the cellfood stuff. Hoping that continues to keep things stable over the next month.

Last, I feel like my kids are constantly hitting me in the chest. Plus there have been a few times I just had to pick them up. Really hoping that doesn't hurt the outcome at the end of the day.

Overall, feeling mostly like myself and can't wait to get closer to the end!

Congrats on your breasts staying stable! They look awesome! I also have to pick up my kids and just try to keep them away from my chest. I'm also really looking forward to the 3 month mark!

You look great! I think it was week 5 when I finally let go of the compression garment and literally let it all hang out. I think massaging the lipo'ed areas helped with the numbness and weird feeling. I'm so pleased my doctor only had me off the booze for a week!

I agree, I only had to avoid alcohol for a week to 10 days as well! Although now that I see so many BFT ladies avoiding alcohol, I have been avoiding as well. Although I've never been a big drinker anyway. I like an occasional glass or two of wine though!

I've been massaging more and it's totally been helping. Thanks ew75!

You look great! I think our breasts look a lot a like. My boobs have been assaulted several times by my kids too, but they are hanging in there, lol. We can only do the best we can do while balancing our kid's needs. I've been doing Tracy Anderson Method: Mat Workout you can find on Amazon. It's a good full body workout. I skip a couple of the moves, on the mat, that put pressure on the chest. Everything else is fine.

Thanks! I will check it out tomorrow!

Not sure that fat transfer is a worthy procedure .. you pay a lot of money and at the end you loose most of the fat. I have seen others same problem but hope you stay as you are now

I think it's going to be worth it for dancingdd! Everyone is different but she seems to be having great retention and she had enough fat injected so there is a real improvement! Also don't forget you also get lipo so you end up skinnier and sculpted as well as getting a breast increase. It's an awesome procedure in my opinion.

Unless all you care about is breast size, then you should go with breast implants for a guaranteed increase.
June 7, 2017
Thanks Betterbody10! Yes, I'm definitely waiting anxiously for the 3 month mark to know how much I retain. I do worry I will lose more. So far, it's still pretty good - miles better than it was before. I think if you do this procedure, you need to go with someone who will put a lot of fat in there so that you're still happy with whatever is left. My main issue was that I actually didn't have as much fat as Dr. Bednar was hoping for. But I don't regret this at all. Even if I go down to a B cup (I think I'm a small C right now but haven't been measured) but have a nice shape, I'm fine with that. I just hated the weird ski jump shape of my breasts post-breastfeeding and even as a B, I'll be way more confident. Plus the lipo is an extra benefit! I'm wearing a size 2/4 right now which I haven't worn in basically ever!

You're welcome and congrats! I'm also fitting into some 2s and 4s that I haven't worn in a long time! It's so awesome to feel better in clothes!

Don't like silicone implants but at least for fat transfer you should increase a size if not ....to me is not worthy. Just my opinion.
