Not worth 12 grand. Maybe if you make 200k a year it's nothing. But I work hard for my money. if I had more breast tissue to begin with it might have turned out better. Also, if I had a husband and family I wouldn't waste the money. When I lie down they look horrible. Almost as bad as before. Left still sags and feels empty. He deposited a lot of fat on my pectoral muscle which only accentuates the saggy tissue. Overall not worth 12k

I think your breasts look great. I agree the change wouldn't base been worth $12k to me either - especially when you figure in the pain and inconvenience. I wouldn't be upset about how you look - either standing or lying. I have several deformities from implants despite reconstructive surgery after explant. You know what though? I feel lucky to have my health back. I'll take the lesson and move forward with confidence. If I want a little extra I'll have a few meals at cracker barrel or pizza hut
Granted. I did say I am happier with them now than before. But not worth 12k and the excruciating pain. My recovery was 3xtremely harsh. So it's not all peaches and cream. I don't know if u would have gotten the procedure. I may have waited a few more years and see how technology improves

Thanks for the honest response.
Hey , i am sorry that you dont like your Results .... in my opinion they Look definetly fuller Than in your before pictures !! For me the size of your breasts would be enough
That's what I thought until I shelled out 12 grand.
How has the doctor handled your unhappiness with the results? Has he offered to any more work to make you satisfied?
Just thought I’d share my honest opinion, in case it gives you a little confidence with where you are now - I think you look great. It sounds like you went through a lot, and there is a lot you’re not happy with. Even if it wasn’t worth it for you, I do think you look even better now. I think the emotional part of having seen your boobs get way bigger and then shrink back down has got to be seriously disappointing - “less” is always going to be tough after you’ve seen what “more” looked like and liked it. Anyways, sorry to hear you weren’t happy with your results. As things stand now for you, I think you look even better than before. Hang in there!
Hi! Any updates?

Still shrinking.

I am about 4 months and they're supposed to not get smaller after 3 months. Yet somehow they continue to shrink. I am now a 36A. I followed his orders and I had poor results.

Where was the fat taken from? I believe I read somewhere that the belly and booty hip fat is the best fat for fat retention?
There is something to be said for women like you who are brave enough to tell people the real honest truth about going through this procedure. I think, often times, gals will tell you everything is fine when it isn't or won't be truthful about how hard it is to recover from lipo, let alone, fat transfer to the breasts. Thank you for being upfront about everything. There are a lot of gals who seem to have fallen off the site without updates or mentioned they had oil cysts and narcosis and never posted again.

I think the more informed we can be about real expectations, the better! I really appreciate how forthright you have been! I know lipo is not for the weak, it's super painful to recover from...I wish more gals would be honest about that. I wonder, over the coming years how many gals who have had fat transfer to their breasts will lose their gains or have issues with oil cysts, lumps etc? I think this procedure still needs perfecting and ladies should understand how difficult it is to recover from aggressive lipo, let alone any imperfections the lipo might leave and the scars left from the fat injections. These are all real things. You are one of the few who has been super honest about everything. Thank you so much for that. <3
thighs and flanks, they are supposed to be the best areas
Have you lost some weight? Maybe you should gain some? Sorry about the shrinking but from this angle your breast looks very good. Would you share some more photos taken from different angles? Good luck
i am not even at my pre op weight. i do not want to gain weight. I workout and care about my health. i will post more photos. they are saggy A cups.
I'm sorry to hear that. Is there at least an improvement compared to your before Fat transfer situation? Last year I did HIIT twice a week for 20 min. and my boobs vanished because of this. After I stopped this training I've gained a handful. What does Dr. Bednar say?
i haven't seen him since my 3 month. I'm guessing he will say i need another transfer for the results i want. I don't know why he just didn't put more in. I said i wanted to be a large B small C. I have plenty of fat. I was concerned about lumps and said i'd rather have smaller boobs and no lumps. He told me that would not a realistic goal because he has no control over it. So he should have put more in.
The amount of fat that can be injected is dependent on how much your breasts can take. If the fat doesn't have a place to attache to and grow a blood supply then it will be more likely that it will die. Maybe he couldn't put more in...? Thats why some women can only receive, for example, 400cc while others can receive 600cc.
I saw his other patients with emptier sacks for boobs get waaaaay more put in.
I am 4 months out and I am in the same position as you. I had breast implants for 3 years and took them out and they left me with empty sacks. So I did the fat transfer 600 cc was injected. I ended up getting a really bad infection in my right breast but I am basically the same size I was before implants A/B. But I am glad they are no longer empty sacks. I am going to try again in maybe 4-6 months since I just had the infection. Hoping they can use some fat from my inner thighs but don't want them to take to much don't want to be left with stick for legs. But I am going to determine that in a few months if I even do it again.
Who did your FT?
Recovery is different for every person going through it. My recovery was a breeze. I did not experience any nausea whatsoever. I didn't bring anyone with me for the surgery so after the overnight nurse left I had to do everything for myself. And I did with minimal struggle. But that was MY recovery. I don't think its fair to say that many women on here lie about their experiences; theirs is simply different from yours.
Good for you
Yes your right it isn’t fair to say that because I had lipo zero pain. I actually have no sensation there anymore. I also had ft transfer but not for my breast but am considering it in the near future. Everyone has a different experience with surgeries as not everyone’s body is the same.
Thanks,
Thx fir posting all your pics but I just took side by side pre and post op pics of your boobs with my phone (of course I deleted it after comparing the two) and your boobs look 40-50% bigger than they were. Also In your title of your post, you mentioned a 20lb weight loss but I don’t see any commentary on what exactly did you mean. Because I don’t see that you’ve contextualized that statement, I’m going to assume you lost 20 lbs after your breast fat transfer. Is that what happened? If so, that means your results were outstanding because when I had this done from another doctor in 2013, I was clearly told that if I lost 10 or more pounds, I could kiss my results goodbye so you’re doing good to have retained fat in your breast after losing 20lbs. I’m thinking about getting another procedure but with Bednar so thank you for posting.

Some food for thought.

So if i knew what I know now. I would recommend to you all to request sue for my surgery nurse. Kendall was very rude to me when I questioned her Foley catheter insertion skills. I've NEVER had excruciating pain when urinating after surgery. She was very rude to me. Also, they are supposed to provide drinks and crackers after surgery so you can urinate and be on your way. I remember talkijng through the door to her and her tryinng to rush me out of the recovery room. I am shocked considering all the good things I heard about the office prior to surgery. The anesthesia they use will get you nauseous. I've been under 5 times and have always snapped RIGHT OUT OF IT and flew out after surgery. I don't know what he uses but it really messed me up for a week. I couldn't think straight. It also took me an extremely long time to wake up from surgery, somethi ng else thats never happened to me before. When i asked for a medicatiin list the anaesthesioologist either never gave it to sue or sue never gave it to me and dr. Bednar told me i dont have to have surgery, trying to use reverse psychology. Very odd, whats the big secret? and Ordering food or picking out tv shows was extremely difficult. I highly recommend having round the clock care for at least 3 days. Sylvia is great and really goes out of her way to make you happy. She brought a welcome bag of food to my hotel and other accommodating actions I won't mention because it might make some people jealous. Despite all the negative aspects, his retention rate is the highest, Sylvia is super nice though in a professional, fake way. If you go somewhere else there will probably be other problems you will deal with, and you ha e to ask yourself, what are your priorities. Mine were retention, and no health compromises. I thujnk I achieved max retention despite the large lump (hopefully this goes away), I didn't get an infection (I refused antibiotics), and no wound Dehiscence. Be prepared for a tough recovery. Most reviews I read people said how east theirs were. I don't know if they're being fake and lying or I really had a rough one I just like to paint a realistic Picture and will leave you with this, hope for the best but expect the worst. He is definitely worth going to for boobs. I wouldn't go to him for my face. I would've liked a little more Lipo on my legs, he inly takes what he needs for fat transfer. You are not paying for Lipo AND transfer. You are paying for Lipo FOR transfer. Overall still happy, and if I had the time and money I would get another one. But I doubt I will. Good luck All! I don't know if I'll be updating

Hello! Thank you for sharing your story and updates. I remember I had my implants removed around the same time as you and like you I wasn't happy with my results. I did not do fat transfer but I went back and had very small saline implants put in. For now Im happy with small ones but perhaps in the future I will consider removal again.. What a rollercoaster... Again thanks for sharing and hope to see updates around 6 months and 1 year.
I remember you! Hope all is well. Sorry you didn't like your outcome. I will try to update.
You should reread my post before making emotional comments
That’s a good point that you are paying for the lipo For transfer. I can relate about wanting the list of medications. I think doctors get so used to using and giving the drugs that they don’t think it’s a big deal, and they feel they should be just be trusted. But I believe you have to be responsible for your own health and check on things like medications. I’m sorry you got sick after surgery. My doctor gave me a patch to put behind my ear to prevent nausea, and it seemed to work. That’s not fun to have after-catheter pain either. And I also wanted to say you look great!
Sorry about the unpleasant part of your fat transfer experience but thank you so much for sharing. Why wouldn't you go to Dr. Bednar for your face? Do you remember how much fat was taken from your donor sites? Keep my fingers crossed your lump will go away!
I Should have been more specific. I wouldn't go to him for anything too detail oriented or correction of asymmetry. For a full fat transfer maybe. But I just want to stay away from my face. I think his specialty is boobs. And I would go to a facial plastic surgeon for face stuff. Someone who specializes in face procedures.
He didn't tell me how much he took out.
I remember talking to the secretary and she was rude to me also and claimed she was the Doctor's girlfriend, very unprofessional. She thought she could get away with being rude because she is dating the Doctor than she said she was the wife.
