As much as I'd love to document my whole fat transfer to my breasts experience, my job and school schedule require too much of my time. However, I just had to take a moment and write about my experience with my fat transfer. Though I've always wanted larger breasts, I just knew that implants wouldn't be for me. Any time I'd have an ache or pain, I'd think I had an autoimmune disease or something crazy like that, and I have a frame that is very pear shaped. So though I have plenty of weight on my lower half, my upper frame is small and I felt like implants wouldn't give me the natural look I sought. In any case, I have been researching fat transfer for sometime now, and decided that this was the year, Dr. B had such tremendous reviews and results that I felt in very capable hands and I was right! The entire team from my first phone call with Sylvia, to my phone consult with Dr. B and the nursing team was amazing. I mentioned that I had trouble with nausea and vomiting from anesthesia and Joel had a patch applied behind my ear, which worked incredibly well, not one bit of nausea or vomiting. This team cares about the individual patient and as a nurse, I can tell you this for a fact. Dr. B is friendly and warm, informative, confident, and professional. I never regretted choosing him as my provider. I'll travel to Charlotte for any other procedures in the future for certain. I am 2 weeks post op and doing fabulous. The first couple of days I stayed in bed, iced, elevated and took my pain medication, so that my pain stayed manageable. I already feel amazing now, I've followed all post op orders precisely. My genie bra from the office was too small, we tried a large, still too small... I'm excited with the increase and hope that it stays. 710 was transferred into each breast from my outer thighs and sides, I'm 5'10" and by the morning of surgery weighed 152. I've been eating extremely clean, high protein, very light leg exercises and I'm not wearing anything constricting on my breasts, a tank top with a shelf bra at this time. Not only do I love the breasts but my lipo areas look amazing already! This procedure was perfect for me and Dr. Bednar and his team is worth any amount of travel with his consistent results and smooth process. This recovery has been a breeze for me! My breasts never hurt, just some lipo area pain and now a bit of lipo swelling and numbness which will resolve in the usual time frame I'm certain. So pleased with this experience and it was so worth it!!
