I'm 57 y.o. mother of four (all breastfed) who has wanted a breast lift for a looooong time! Up until this past July I was: first--too busy raising four kids (2 year space between each) and then--too busy working ALL THE TIME to help put them through college! I resigned from my job last July and then decided to start my rebuild project. First I wanted to lose some weight and get in better shape. By November I had lost 40 pounds and was walking 5 miles a day in addition to starting an exercise class with personal trainer. By the end of November I had convinced my hubby that all I wanted for Christmas was a breast lift! I consulted a plastic surgeon that I had known for 30+ years to see about this procedure as well as a scar revision on my face (small) caused by a childhood accident. He said I was a great candidate for the lift and that LOL my nipples were "perfect"! Then apologized for being "inappropriate"! --but explaining that because they were small it would make the procedure so much easier for him! Hmmmm...At any rate I am scheduled for January 29th and getting excited!! Had pre-op visit this past Friday, was told the nips were "perfect" again lol, got my prescriptions and we're good to go!! I also have done some cool-sculpting treatments but it hasn't been long enough to see full results yet although I can see a difference in the muffin top and my husband says he can as well. And that's only the first treatment to that area--scheduled to repeat in about a month. My biggest problem area that we are treating with cool-sculpting is flabby arms (geez I hope that works! No amount of lifting weights is going to get rid of it!) At this point I feel too old and modest to post any before pics. Who knows....I may change my mind!!

Hi commend that your deciding to do a mommie makeover. I am a 47 year old mother of 3 & I just decided to do a mommy makeover myself with a breast reduction and also a liposuction of the abdomen flanks and arms and inner thighs it does seem to make myself feel confident but at the same time I'm also doing workouts and everything is well To tone and firm so I commend what you're doing and I hope to see the after pictures once you heal and all but the procedures is fairly noncomplicated you know less painful as far as the breast reduction the the liposuction was very manageable with minimum to Hardley no pain but just stay motivated and I look to see your after pictures thank you

Ok-excited but have all kinds of weird thoughts running through my mind--especially at night. Was pretty much awake from 1-4 a.m. Worrying about things that could go wrong, things I still need to do before Thursday. It's like my brain is on overload! Hopefully all will go well. At this point I wish it was already this time next week so procedure would be behind me!!

first of all just calm down relax your mind relax your mind and your soul its not as bad as you think I know that you're thinking about everything that's going to go wrong but why don't you try thinking about everything that's going to go right about the procedure I did a breast reduction because I was having extreme shoulder and back pain the reduction is beautiful compare that I do have to wait for the incisions to heal and my breasts to form the actual shake that it's going to be but I'm happy although I had concerns and my concerns was only with the anesthesiologist when I went into the hospital I spoke with the anesthesiologist who put my concerns to rest I had a great position I had a great physicians team and everything was calm so you try to do the same cuz your procedure is going to come out great and I'll just try not to think about it as much as you are now it's going to be wonderful and I know you have a couple of days to go so just you know think about the positive and try to stay away from all of the negative

Day of treatment

Surgery was Today

Well--it's done! I woke up calm and with no apprehension this morning, thank goodness. I can't tell you how reassuring it is to actually KNOW the surgeon. The nurses were so nice and caring that I feel like I already know them also. And my extra surprise today was that I knew the anesthetist! She and I had worked Open Heart together years (and I mean YEARS--I'm talking early 90s!) ago. And remember, I had a lipoma (L shoulder) removal and 2 scar revisions on my face. My forehead is very uncomfortable now that the numbness has worn off. Breasts heavily bandaged of course. I've pretty much slept since surgery. Breast pain not too bad so far. Only 5 hours post op as of right now. My plan is to stay ahead with the pain meds for 24 hours or so. Sorry if this is all over the place--my daughter told me I wasn't making much sense when I tried to text a couple hours ago. Going to go back to sleep. Have a nice night....

hi I'm glad your surgery went well I was pretty comfortable with my anesthesiologist also they very much so calm my nerves and also the nurses that I had was wonderful as well just remember that taking the medications and the pain meds are going to harden your stool up so you should ask the position to subscribe you a stool softener where you take some kind of laxatives and other than that I'm happy your recovery went great your process of healing now begins.

Awesome. You've encouraged me.thank you
