I had the Coolsculpt mini for double chin done today, I was very nervous because I had read mixed reviews. I am 48 years old and have had this issue for a long time. This was my first of 2 treatments needed. When the suction was first put on I thought it was very uncomfortable and pushed on my throat so it felt like I could not breath good but of course I could, it was a very tight pulling and cold sensation the entire hour, a few times I wanted to stop it but I thought it was so uncomfortable feeling and on a pain level I would give it a 6, afterwards though when she rubbed it, it just felt odd and I have not had any pain since, it has an odd sensation but no pain, only if I push on it, I hope this is all the pain will be, the tech had told me around day 4 or so I would have itching or pin prick feelings as my nerves come back so I hope that is it, I will post an update, if it works then it will totally be worth it not to have surgery!

I researched the cost and as usual average working class people, me, can not afford it

People spend more money on other things. I don't think 1,000.00 to 1,500.00 is much to make yourself feel good about yourself.

It is worth it in the long run., Amugdo

I had it done yesterday. It was uncomfortable and now I have what looks like a huge hickey on my neck

hmm, i did/do not have any bruising. if you can get an ice pack and wear it tight around your chin while at home i highly recommend that.

Thanks

The weird feeling will go away. If it's unbearable ask them to prescribe gabapentin, a nerve blocker! Amugdo in eastern New Nexico

They have a care credit system but in my opinion if you have access to a zero percent interest for 12-18 months, Use that. It's better for your money, trust me I messed up with Care credit HUGE fees

I had submental coolsculpting done yesterday (March 22nd.) i don't have any pain, just some discomfort if I touch the area, but I am keeping it wrapped and iced (lucky to have a head wrap and mini gel packs from husband's wisdom tooth surgery last year!) to hopefully head off any discomfort. Good luck to you!

Good luck to you, have you seen a noticeable difference, it has been 3 weeks and I don't really see a result yet other than swelling going down, still have some tingling when I touch it.
April 6, 2016
It's only been 2 weeks today for me, so not really seeing anything yet. When I touch my chin area it feels slimmer/smaller, but pictures look the same, lol. Probably a combination of still having some numbness and wishful thinking! I have had absolutely zero pain though, which I worried about after reading everyone else's experiences.

Best of luck. I will be at 5 weeks this Friday! I am seeing some improvement but nothing drastic. I did not have a lot of fat in the middle of the neck, more along the sides. Check out my review. And, I will be watching to see how it goes for you!

I am four weeks today and I think I am starting to see something. A little slimmer where the chin joins the neck when I am looking straight on but not so much in profile. Fingers crossed that some results come soon for you!
April 11, 2016
hey there..did you use 1 applicator or 2 in your treatment? i'm getting mixed recommendations regarding 1 vs 2 and it's effect on indentation/jowels/side fat remaining. any improvements? :)
