Insult with another doctor for a breast lift - He...

Insult with another doctor for a breast lift - He determined that I should have implants and would not need the lift and said that the lift would create scaring that I would not be happy with. I Agreed to move ahead with the procedure and expressed my desire to be very conservative and not wanting larger but fullness to obtain the lift I had discussed. The nurse decided mid surgery that she thought I would like to go larger than discussed and the doctor agreed. I ended with a significant infection that had to be treated on a daily basis in the office with a drain to remove the infection - it was extremely painful but I understand that somethings, such as infections, are possible and comes along with the risk of the procedure. From day one of my surgery, I felt very self-conscious with my VERY large breast that were so heavy that there was no lift what-so-ever. I spend lots of money on minimizing bras for the several years that I had the implants. I discussed my concerns with the doctor and he offered to remove the implants and replace with smaller implants for the same cost as the original surgery. The was not a case of unrealistic expectations. I didn't want large breasts - I just wanted them in the position they were in prior to giving birth. After several years, I consulted with several other PS. Dr. O was the ONLY one who didn't try and talk me into new implants - I told him what my original goal was and he explained how that goal could be achieved. He let me know that I would not get the fullness on the upper area that implants give and he explained all of the details of what I could expect. He removed the implants, performed the lift that I had wanted originally and I could NOT have been happier with the result. My only regret is not having it done sooner but I was still reeling from the cost of the original surgery. I am literally comfortable in my own skin. My shirts fit perfectly and I don't have to buy a larger size in an attempt to conceal my breasts that were too large. I can now wear cute bras and can even wear sleep bras during the day -- I haven't worn an uncomfortable "normal" bra since. Scaring is not an issue. It has faded so much that they aren't even visible. Still trying to figure out why the initial doctor thought the scaring would be an issue - my husband and I are the only one who sees them! Couldn't be happier with my perky breasts. I am writing this review because I just made another appointment with Dr. O for a consult for upper eyelid surgery - I am hoping to not look so tired!! Also, I am not sure of the exact cost of the procedure... I put my best guess.
