After having problems with the lap band I got gastric bypass in 2014. Now that I've lost the weight I'm getting my tummy tuck and breast reduction. I am really excited but also nervous about my procedure next week. I am so glad I came across this community. I've been reading other people's post and is so helpful. I really don't know what to expect; so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I hope after my experience I can come back and give back also.

Can you give me a rough idea of cost. I'm in North Cal and am debating going out of state to save money.

Medicaid is paying for my breast reduction and Pannectomy. And I have to pay $2,100 out of pocket to have a full tummy tuck with muscle repair. I will ask what the total cost and get back to you.

You are so sweet, thanks so much!!
I'm getting so excited. A bit nervous too. Im more nervous of not getting dramatic results than I am of something going wrong. Is that silly? LOL
I bought a lightweight bathrobe today, a few sports bras, some protein shakes for something to put in my stomach to take my pain pills during recovery. (Narcodics make me so nauseous) and some milk of magnesia to relieve the constipation post-op. I have arnica hell but forgot to get the arnica pillules. I plan on making a few freezer meals this weekend, some bone broth and soup, and I have the recliner in my bedroom in case I can't get comfortable in my bed.
What am I forgetting??

Am I forgetting anything????
I'm trying to make sure I'm well prepared for my surgery. I have my body wedge pillow, compression garments, sports bras, and I've been drinking Juven as my doctor recommended. Is there anything else I need????

I'd take Arnica tablets as they help with the healing and apply Arnica cream to help reduce the bruising. Good luck with your op.
