DON’T GO TO MEXICO FOR ANY SURGERY!!!
WORTH IT$4,000
As a nurse I’m seeing patients come in with antibiotics resistant infections that are life-threatening. Just trying to save a few thousand dollars could actually cost you your life. Please reconsider having any type of surgery done in Mexico eg. Bariatric surgeries, Tummy tuck, anything invasive. If you don’t believe me I just ran across this information on the CDC’s website, United States Center for disease control website.
Please read it!! And for the love of Sweet Jesus, don’t go to Mexico for any type of surgery!

Enjoying the new me!! ???? 3 yr post-op update
The surgery went phenomenal and so has my progress. I am now three years out of my surgery. I went from a max weight of 254 pounds and now I am at a much healthier 164 pounds. I feel wonderful!! I no longer have Hashimoto's autoimmune disease. I sleep better , and overall my life has improved greatly. I truly believe this is one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. It is change my life for the better. I went to UNC hospital in Chapel Hill and had a wonderful experience. Minimal postop pain and NO post-on bloating. I couldn't have asked for better care I highly recommend UNC hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. ask for surgeon Dr. Timothy Ferrell. Sorry for the late update, I've just been living life, something I wasn't doing before. I also start the RN program next month, so wish me luck. And please please follow the postop diet plan from clear liquid soft foods and slowly progress the way you're supposed to. I work with an emergency room nurse who tells me horror stories about people who do not follow their post-op diet and end up killing themselves soon after surgery. Do not progress too fast, take it slow as you ease your way back into eating solid foods. Also once you've healed up exercise is very important, just don't try to start too soon Post -op. Drop a good portion of the weight, heal and when your body is ready exercise will be so much more enjoyable and easier to do. Are used an app called the couch to 5K. Best of luck to you all and please be wise when choosing a surgeon, saving a few thousand dollars, is not with risking your life.

Sleeve sister, you look AMAZING!!!!! I am so happy for you, I am a month away from surgery and have stalked the CRAP out of RS.... Congrats on a excellent job!
WOW. You look GORGEOUS! Congratulations on such a successful surgery! Thank you for all the advice. Good luck in the RN program and keep enjoying your new found life!!! This is so inspiring!
Thank you
wow what an inspiration! question, I workout with trainer 3-4 a week, but have a hard time losing lbs. I m having surgery in April or May. do you have a lot of loose skin?
Oh yes, I have loose skin. As soon as I finish nursing school I'll be taking care of that too. Right now I just wear snug under shirts made out of a spanks like material to hold it tight. My breast want from DD's to very sad saggy Cs and my belly also has a large amount of excess skin
But I'd take this loose skin over my previous obese body any day the week
Thank you.
