WORTH IT$8,278
Big step, date set! I can't believe I'm going to have a tummy tuck. I am the same weight as I was before the kids but I have a lot of excess wrinkly skin over my belly button. My skin just was not able to recover from the size of my children. It's a bummer but that's life. I'm looking forward to being an "AFTER". I worked so hard to lose the baby weight just to look at destruction in the mirror lol. Obviously my kids are worth it, I wish there was a way to avoid this. Somebody needs to invent an "anti-immigration tuck" cream to help you ride out the pregnancy better. Although I probably wouldn't use it anyway just in case there was a side effect to the baby. Anyway, I'll be working out, staying hydrated, praying and waiting for May to get here....................

Shhhhh I'm getting a tummy tuck
Only my husband know that I'm having a TT. I don't know how to bring it up with my close family and friends. I feel that I will be judged for having an elective surgery especially since I did lose the baby weight and am back to my normal weight. I feel like people would understand more if I was larger, but this excess skin is no joke. The struggle is real lol. I have a lot to be thankful for, I am very happy. This is something I would like though to put the cherry on the sundae. Something for me.......and that makes me feel guilty too I think.

I know! I read a lot of stories where sometimes friends and family are VERY judgmental about it. I'm having a hysterectomy at the same time, so nobody will really know. You could always say you have a hernia that is causing you problems- ventral, umbilical, epigastric..make up something about how it was recommended to take care of it before it gets bigger, requires mesh, or becomes strangulated... people just need to mind their own business (or get over their envy!!)

Lol, @ snowflake567's comment( mind their own business- that's the truth!) @sillymilly2014... I'm in the same boat, I think they would be more supportive if they thought I was really overweight! Good luck on your journey and know that there are others out their who are experiencing the same as you.

Good luck to you as well! It should be better publicized how prevalent loose abdominal skin is after pregnancy so people know that there is little but surgery to correct it!

148 lbs yikes!
I'm usually around 135 - 140 but clearly I've been cutting up over the holidays! The goal is to get down to 125 lbs before the TT so that the 6wks of inactivity won't negatively affect my GAINS in the gym! When I ate clean (google Tosca Reno & Oxygen Magazine) and lift heavy the flab doesn't have a chance.

1/21 weight down to 142.4 lbs 25.1% body fat (eating clean and working out). PS not doing lipo because he is doing "no-drain". Almost would rather have drains and get lipo, I'm afraid that I may gain some weight and ruin my fantastic TT results. With some of those fat cells sucked out I feel like I'd have a little edge......
