Here are some pictures. Right after surgery, one week and two weeks. Keep in mind I'm a bruiser and most people do not bruise like I do. I'm very excited about my progress.

For years anytime I had a picture made my eyes would become tiny little lines and disappear into my face. I always wanted big beautiful eyes, but the older I got the heavier my eyelids got to the point where you couldn't even see the actual lid anymore. All you saw was sagging skin. So on my 60th birthday, when my husband asked me what I wanted for a birthday present, I told him, "Upper eyelid Surgery". I had, had other wonderful experiences at The Virginia Institute for Surgical Arts and felt confident that Dr. V would be the right person to perform this procedure. Dr. V took her time. The surgical room is immaculately clean. I was able to have my surgery on a Saturday so that my husband could take me to and from the facility. I experienced no pain what so ever and felt relaxed and comfortable even though I was awake. The numbing injections were very effective. The procedure took approximately 90 minutes. I took a nap when I got home and have felt fantastic since. Anytime I have had a question since the procedure, Dr. V has called me right away. I'm extremely pleased.

I've never written a review for a doctor. Probably because I've never had such an amazing experience with a doctor before. I have had several procedures by other plastic surgeons and dermatologist. Fillers, lip augmentation, Botox, Juvederm and laser hair removal. I've seen doctors in Fairfax, Leesburg, Ashburn and in Tennessee. On many occasions the doctor just did the initial consultation and a trained assistant did the actual procedure. I got tired of feeling like a number. After all when your talking about your face don't you deserve someone who really listens and cares? Having an actual doctor do the procedure? An experienced physician who is going to consistently strive for perfection? Dr. Trang Vo-Nguyen, "Dr.V" , is amazing and truly puts her patients fist. I have never felt so cared for by a doctor in my life. After having Dr. V perform some filler procedures I was so pleased and felt so confident and comfortable with her that I had her perform upper eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty). Dr. V did an amazing surgery and after the procedure she followed up with me everyday to check on my progress. I've never had a doctor before who is so caring. I love my eyes and I'm so happy that I chose Dr. V to do my procedure. If your thinking of having a procedure done I would highly recommend Dr. V. I can't imagine having anyone else touch my face. Dr. V will make you feel beautiful on the inside and outside!
