I have PCOS that caused heavy hair growth on my chin and neck. I choose electrolysis I picked my electrologist after reading her reviews and a consultation. I went faithfully every week for about 8 months, then gradually began reducing to biweekly, and every three weeks. Now I go monthly and we have to search for hair but I like the security of being vigilant. The hair has not come back and my skin looks great. I regret that I did not do before and after photos. It was a tedious process but I fully commited to it and the results were such a confidence boost. It has been more than worth the money.

I decided to have electrolysis because of my dark skin tone laser was not an option for me. I really wanted the hair gone because it made me feel "unfeminine." I had been shaving since my 20s. This was a gift I was giving myself when I turned 45. I had a lot of hair to get rid of. It was all coarse and thick. I can post a picture of what the area looks like now and I have not been to elecrolysis in a month.

Thanks for sharing! I am a 24 year old with hair on my entire face and neck. And this is only due to starting IPL hair removal and laser hair removal on peach fuzz and it creating thicker and more corse hairs. I have to shave between sessions which didn't help either. I don't like to leave my house I feel so awful. In between sessions did you have to keep the hair growing? Or were u able to figure something out where u could still be hair less at least on the weekends?

Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures of what the area looked like before. However, this is what it looks like now. I have not been in for any touch up work in over a month.
