Happy Most of the Time But...

WORTH IT$7,500
I go back and forth. I love the size and how I look in clothes and that I don't really need a bra but I feel sad when I see the stretch marks. They are actually worse than before I got BA. My skin is fair and so every thing is just so prominent. I hope that someone, anyone can tell me they've experienced something similar and that they will go away or at the very least fade significantly.

I am considering Dr. Marouk as my ps but I am curious why you chose him. What research did you do on him? Did you get saline or silicone implants? Do you feel your breasts look natural or can you tell that they have been enhanced?
Hi-
I did research him and was happy with what I had read/seen. I was going to let the consult guide my ultimate decision. Dr. Marouk has been great. He returned 5 in the morning panic calls, saw me on a saturday when I couldn't come during the week, and he is a perfectionist so he won't let your boobs look bad. I had a rocky start as one of the incisions spit some staples and the incision opened up but I was closely monitored and all is well now. I had stretch marks before bl/ba and I was hoping they would "disappear" with more volume and fullness up top. He said they will, it just takes up to a year.
Im 4 months now and I just LOVE my boobs. I have saline 575 cc hp so I don't think they look "natural" naked anyway. In clothes they look natural. Hope that was helpful. Good luck! Mention me IF you do decide to go with him. :O)
Thanks for your input. I'm curious why you went with saline as opposed to gummy bear implants. I keep reading these are the best. Of course everyone has differing opinions. I read there is no skin rippling with them. How much was your bl/ba? How long before you were able to get back to your normal daily routine?
Are the stretch marks because of the implants? What size were you pre-op and what size implants did you have placed?
Are you happy with them now?

Quite possibly the slowest two months ever. At about week 3-4 I experienced my vertical incision split and I have been dealing with getting that open wound to heal up. You can see in the pics the wound is there but smaller. Im REALLY hoping the stretch marks are going to fade quickly. I just want some normal looking boobs!

Light at the end of the tunnel!

I've made it to one month post op and I finally feel like things are going to be alright. The first week my my girls had EXTREME bruising. Then I had dehiscence on both breasts. The right side was big and gross. As of yesterday The left side has completely closed up and is starting to look normal. The right side's open wound is still big BUT is closing slowly. I can tell. I just want any other ladies who are dealing with incisions that have split open to know that they will eventually heal. I am so grateful for this site and all the questions and stories that helped me stay positive.
