I will be having an extended tummy tuck with muscle repair and no liposuction by Plastic Surgeon who did my reconstruction after a bilateral mastectomy. Dr Finkel is a kind compassionate doctor with a wonderful staff. I will spend one night in the hospital. I am 5'04 and 177 lbs. I tend not to exercise and am hoping I will be motivated to once I lose my belly!

Hi, I am looking for women of my age who also are doing the tummy tuck and lipo. I had my surgery 9 days ago. I am 57, five foot three and a half inches tall, was 213 pounds. I had ten pounds of fat removed from my spare tire. All went well, however, I feel very stiff still and am trying to rest the first two weeks. It will take along time to fully recover, but having a flat tummy is amazing!

I am 63 and I hope to have both a BR and TT in the spring when I will be 64. Most likely will not due them at the same time. Look forward to hearing from and seeing pics from other older women!

Your tummy looks good. Start out by trying to day 10 to 15 minutes of walking each day. You'll be surprised how much just that little gives you the incentive to do more.
