So story goes like this, I am from India, a 35 year old male with receding hairline, with temples being more affected, with hair thinning and of course no success with any remedy to stop further hair loss. Having said that, I started searching for clinics in early 2015 and finally met a guy in June 2016 who I finally thought I could go with and decided to take leap of faith and do hair transplant. His clinic is in Chandigarh, India. His name is Dr. Nav Vikram Kamboj. His clinic name is Neograft Hair Transplant Clinic. So my surgery was on October 8, 2016. I live around 200 km away from Chandigarh, so I drove down with my wife to chandigarh, started around 2.30 a.m. the previous night and reached there in the morning. My surgery was scheduled close to 9.00 a.m. and I was ready for the procedure. Dr. Vikram came in and we talked for a while and then we proceeded on to OT. Procedure started with removing hairs from my donor area, then after sometime they laid me in supine position on a massage type table with a hole for my face to look at a 7 inch LED type screen where I could see a movie, I actually watched 2. Extraction process started with anesthesia and anesthesia was great, they are using some new techniques for this and you won't have pain anytime during the anesthesia, during the procedure or even when anesthesia wears off completely and I had no pain even after 13 hours of procedure when I am writing this review . Extraction process went very smooth and after that I had my lunch which they ordered of course for me and my wife. After that drilling for holes making for transplantation got started, went well with no pain whatsoever. This time I was sitting prone on the table at a 40 degree angle I guess, again watching TV. After drilling, transplantation started and everything got completed by 4.30 in the evening, took around 6 and a half hours for whole procedure. Got my postop instructions and Dr. Vikram explained me dos and donts, paid the money and started my journey back home the very same day after leaving the clinic. Dr. Vikram is a pretty nice guy and is always available if you have any issues regarding anything related to your transplant. I got home after driving for 6 hours at 11.30 that same night, so it had been more than 12 hours since I slept and of course 400 km of driving. I came home and as instructed went for saline sprinkle on grafts, but while removing surgical cap, I lost around 4 or 5 grafts in my right temple, the blood actually got stuck on the cap and grafts came off with it. I then slept almost at a 50 degree angle as suggested and slept fine, no discomfort whatsoever. This is the first morning after surgery when I am writing this review. I will post my before surgery pics taken 2 days before my surgery and pics on 1st postop day.

Everything looks normal for me, just some mild swelling on face, nothing else and yes a little less sensation on top of scalp 3 days postop. Had my first wash on 10 October 2016, had surgery on 8 October 2016. These attached pics are from before head wash.

Hi Descius,
1. Will the hair regrow from where it was extracted?
2. The extraction process was manual or auto?
3. Do you feel itchy in the transplante area or area of extraction?
Please let me know.
Thanks
Ashish

Hair won't grow in donor area but it is extracted in such a manner that the area won' be visible after few days. It is not extracted from a single area or like a single patch. Everything was manual, extraction and transplantation. No itch on my scalp neither in donor or recipient area, just less sensation on scalp....that will be back to baseline I guess in a month.....
