34 Years Old, Ready for a New Me! - Champaign, IL

Weird how you adjust to life being different. My surgery was on 10.20.15. I have lost 17 pounds since surgery, 37 pounds total. I am introducing new pureed foods, and trying to change the menu at home for my family to be healthier as well. It has been a strange trip thus far. I feel like my weight loss has been slower than that of others that I have seen, but my clothes are fitting a little larger although I am the same size.
I am trying to come up with goals, but it is hard to wrap my head around them being attainable. I will get there. I know this is a mental battle as well.
I would definitely do it all over again :)

My surgery is scheduled for 10/20/2015 :)
I start my pre-op diet in 18 days. I am so excited!

I saw the psych Dr yesterday and he told me there was no reason that I couldn't have the surgery. Next appointment is next week with the nutritionist and then my info can be sent in to my insurance company. I am so ready!
