I've wanted a tummy tuck for as long as I can remember. So glad I finally went through with it. It's been almost a week since my surgery and I am healing nicely. Dr. Husker had a great bedside manner and while examining me found a hernia that I sunscreen know I had. One thing that I am unsure of is the after care for all of the wounds. Do they just stay exposed? The tape is falling off. Do these stitches just dissolve? I live out of town so am I gonna get these drains removed before I go? So many unanswered questions.

The stitches disolve, I had my surgery with Dr H on Friday he did a TT with lipo and repair a hernia. I am also from out of town and go back to have my drains remove on Friday! How are you feeling? And are you happy with your result.

Yes! Very happy. The only thing I can say is that a slight revision may need to be done in 6 months to my scar/skin on one side. It's like the skin is kind of folded in some spots. Hard to explain without taking a pic. Overall though,I am still very happy with the results and I would do this again in a minute!

You can use that surgical tape to cover your wound it help them to heal smoothly too..

I did. I ended up buying a genuine wrap and some silicone surgical tape because I heard all this aids in healing of scars. So far, so good.Now if I could just get rid of the itching!!!!

is 5000 really the all inclusive price for a tummy tuck. Thats about half of what all of my consults have been in atlanta.

Yes! I am from Virginia and it costs $9000 here. I feel like the price was awesome and the doctors in Miami are very experienced. It was well worth it. Talk to Catherine Ruiz ( surgical coordinator) at CG Cosmetics and get a quote. There's even a really nice Hampton Inn close by that has great accommodations for people that just had surgery.
