What type of information are you looking for about saline implants? I would follow my PS's advice about massaging. I also have saline the doc showed me 7days post op. He only wanted me doing three different types of massages though. Not sure if that helps. My are hard too :/ I cannot wait for them to get squishy!
I'm a little scared that they will stay hard, they are so high. My big problem is that I drove to Miami to get them and I live 6 hrs away so I can only talk to my coordinator through emails. Sucks! :/ I just want to know how they are doing...looks like I'm gonna have to arrange a post op consultation for 1 month post op. My nurse said I can start massaging them at 14 days which I am only 3 days away woohoooo! Finally! How are you doing so far? How are your girls? Looks like we got our BA on the same day :D
I have saline as well, and mine were high and tight for the first few weeks too. Once you start massaging frequently (2-3 times a day) they will definitely drop and start to feel better. (As I tell my co-workers, like boobs and not like baseballs haha). Assuming that you got them under the muscle, your muscles are still really tight and haven't stretched or loosened yet, so don't worry. They look great already!
Don't Massage them until the recommends time. Internally u r healing and u don't want to stop your stitches from healing.
You're right! I did stop. I have decided to start my massages as recommended.
Good! They will drop in time. I'm almost six months post and they are soft and squishy!!
Mine feel extremely high as well! It is pretty annoying. I can't wait til they feel more like a part of my body. It is uncomfortable.
It can take several weeks or even longer to drop and fluff so try to be patient and not worry too much. You can also pose your questions and post pictures to theĀ RealSelf Doctor Q&A for some additional feedback. Congratulations and take it easy whenever you can!

I will keep updating you ladies. I feel better at 6 days. Thinking about going back to work on Monday. I'm a server and I am a little scared even though my nurse said its ok. What you girls recommend?

Its very normal the way they look , Each day they seem to look better and normal , But so far they look great!! You will be happy once the drop & fluff ..
I can't wait :( I have saline and not many girls on here get saline so there's not much info I can rely on and silicone and saline looks are waaaaaaay different :(
Do you have full range of motion in your arms yet? I went back to work 4days post, and I sit at a desk. I have to say it has been a very rough week. I've had full range of motion since day two, but these things feel so heavy at days end. I bump them on everything it's been a little much. If you can afford to stay off, I might would give myself a few more days.
Also, you might want to look into the nursing ice packs. They're discreet and I use them about mid day. It seems to help with the discomfort. Best wishes!
Thank you so much for informing me. My job requires a lot of work. I'm gonna look into the ice packs. Thank you!
Looking good!!! :)
I'm a server as well, and my doctor suggested taking off 10-14 days (what she suggests for her patients who are servers), and I'm SO glad I did. Even after 10 days I wasn't allowed to lift more than 10 pounds, so couldn't help with setting up/breaking down the restaurant, and it was uncomfortable holding a tray, (and when I did I could only carry 3-4 drinks at a time). Also, standing and being very active was still really tiring.
Also, reaching up high or all the way forward was a huge pain in the ass too, so hopefully things you use a lot at your job aren't all in completely inconvenient places like they are at mine lol
Uuuuugh! Sucks I'm only 9 days post op but I have to go back to work next week. I'm still struggling with my arms. Thank you for updating me.
