First day back at work

I went back to work today and I'll be honest, I did not want to get out of bed. When I started getting ready I felt a little lightheaded but not bad. Driving was weird, when I turned the steering wheel, I could feel my pecs flex and almost felt like the implant was shifting or compressing underneath the muscle. I'm not sure if this is a normal feeling or if I'm just very in tune with muscle movements since I workout a lot, but it was a really weird feeling...not really painful, just weird. I was fine throughout the day, just the same back and lats pain that I've been mentioning. By the time I got home I felt exhausted even though I work at a desk and only stopped at the grocery store after work. I think a little swelling has gone down and the bruising seems to be dulling. You'll notice in the pics that the skin in between my breasts is pulled pretty tight, it doesn't lay flat like normal. I think the swelling there has gone down a little so hopefully it'll go back to normal as the implants settle and swelling dissipates.

Thanks for the update! Looks great! I'm excited and ready to have both breasts again! Been living with one 350cc boob and one with no implant since august! Tired of stuffing my bra so excited to be complete again! Congrats! You look terrific!

They look amazing!! So would you say you’re 100% satisfied with Dr Joseph and the whole process? I have a consultation with him the end of June. And did you meet with other doctors as well for consultations and just choose him over the others?

Starting to get some feeling in my boobs

Hey Guys! so it's 5 days post op and I'm feeling almost back to normal. I stopped taking the pain meds yesterday (4 days post op) but am still taking glutamine, arnica and of course the prescribed antibiotics. Up until now, pretty much the lower half of my boobs were numb. I'm starting to notice that I'm gaining feeling back in my boobs, but there's still some numb spots. I wonder if this is normal or has anything to do with the way Dr. Joseph does his surgeries? Another thing I forgot to mention previously (but I'm sure you've read/heard before) is that the surgical bra is really annoying. It's tight and extremely itchy at the bottom where the incisions are.....hopefully I can change into a regular (wire free) bra this week. Another thing that I'm still trying to get used to is sleeping on my back and with a few pillows. Today I've been getting some pains on my side (lats....almost side boob) and they kind of feel like cramping? I haven't heard or read too much about back and side pains from the implants but I know I have some bruising there, so I'm not sure what the pain is. It's possible I'm a little dehydrated and that combined with having to lay like a mummy on my back is causing the cramping or muscles pains. Anyways, happy healing to all the other ladies that are in recovery!

Hi! I'm a mom of 2 and about to have revision surgery and noticed that we are the same height and weight. I'm also getting 400cc next Tuesday. Are you happy with the results? I didn't see any after pics so I was curious. The first time I had surgery I had 350cc and decided to go a bit bigger this time. Trying to determine how much bigger they will be than the first time.

Hi! I'm very happy with the results so far! I was between 350 and 400 so I just told them 375 and the doctor tried diff sizes to see what would look best. Ended up with 400! I was worried it would look too big since I already had a pretty good amount of breast tissue but they look very proportional. Also I've read on here that 50cc is something as small as a tablespoon of a diff (can't remember if that's the exact amount but it's a small amount lol). I took some pictures so I'll try to upload them now. Good luck on your BA! =)

Hi dear, the numb spots are normal. Some girls regain all of the feeling back , some don't. After my first and only augmentation,( I don't have implants any more) I lost the feeling of my nipples completely, but after a year I regained some feeling.
I needed approximately 2 to 3 month to be fully back to normal, but I think that was because of my tight strong trained breast muscles.
However don't worry, that sounds completely normal to me after this major surgery. Well what's about sleeping. I could only sleep on my back for a year and after that I was able to sleep on one side.
But there are girls which have no problems with that and I have seen one girl which can sleep on her stomach every night. Wow you see, everything is possible we are unique. I wish you a fast recovery, happy healing.

Thank you for your input, that's really helpful! Lu July I'm starting to notice some feeling in my nipples come back (like when your arm is asleep and you try to wake it up and get that unpleasant tingly feeling lol) but the bottom half of my boobs are still pretty numb. As far as sleeping goes, i hope I can sleep on my side at least! Im a stomach sleeper so laying on my back all night is torture. I appreciate the comment and well wishes, I hope you have a great day!
