Had this done yesterday after reading a gazillion reviews! I was nervous about the pain, but I realize everyone is different and thought I would give it a shot. I see experiences from A-Z on this website - all over the spectrum - some saying the procedure was easy-breezy, and some comparing it to childbirth! I didn't know what to expect! For me - the first few minutes were a bit intense, especially the abdomen (I had abs, belly and love handles done). After about 10 minutes, it's OK, just a bit uncomfortable The worst for me was the 2 minute massage afterward. At one point, I got lightheaded. This feels like someone is rubbing your skin after a rug burn. I thought this was intense and couldn't wait until it was over. Also, my bruising is severe. I will post pictures. Wish me luck!

Here's my personal tip which may make no difference at all. Since the fat under our skin is frozen and breaking down over the next 2 months. I move the process along by manually manipulating the skin. I take a 1 foot smooth wooden dowel and deep-kneed (i.e. roll hard over) or squish by hand the fat areas for 10 minutes or more while sitting and watching TV at night. Why let the fat cells get a chance to recover. Why not help break them down, while their already in a damaged state, to hopefully never come back again. I'm not claiming any scientific proof but I've had great results and will continue to do what I've been doing.

Since you'll likely lose sensation on the nerves for several weeks (i was numb for almost 2 months) it won't hurt either. What I noticed was that the fat underneath started to feel lumpy after a few weeks. As you'll see, I really think this made a difference on my success. Check out my photos of before, after and most recent. Looking forward to seeing your before and after as well. Best of luck

I am not sure if there is a correlation between the discomfort during massage and nerve pain a week after the procedure. The massage in my case (for lower abdomen) was so intense that the nurse had to stop. The pain was unbearable. I am one week one and the nerves in my lower abdomen are firing up and the pain can be very piercing. The doctor prescribed Lyrica which works on Neuropathic pain. Just giving you a heads up as you may experience the same side effect in a few days. Hope you don't :)
