I am now 6 months post op, made it!!! It has been a month and 5 days since my scar revision, and I so excited about how far I have come. I saw Dr Baker yesterday and we took our final pictures!! Had a fantastic time in Florida!! I have to tell you that the one day I had time to go to the pool, all the old feelings came rushing back, you know the ones where you feel subconscious about your body, then my light bulb went off. Ok I said I've waited for this moment here goes. I changed my clothes got into my "new bikini" and came down and removed my cover up and joined the ladies who were waiting for me. I walked up to them and said "so whats the topic of conversation"? One of the ladies said "How great you look in your swimsuit"!!!. Boy was that worth it or what!!! Ok I got off track here, my scar revision is just beautiful and it is all healed up and ready to fade with the history to time. I feel so good. Let me remind you that for me the recovery and the emotions are what hit me the hardest, I can hardly remember the pain and discomfort.

It's been two weeks since my scar revision. My tape fell off on March 14, just after my shower. With a little itching and some tightness I made it. So excited to get through this healing that I went out and bought a bikini. Here are a few pictures.
