Fasciablaster. A real review of an untested device.

Early results were promising....then they faded away and I and many others now have other concerns about the product.
Well, we all know the saying ...if it sounds to good to be true....
I have mixed "feelings" about the blaster because it seems to help with such a wide myriad of issues BUT just like everything use wisely, I have had my concerns about its use around lymph nodes, varicose veins (causing possible clot issues) and other concerns, let alone the never ending detox some people seem to have.
Initially there were very few warnings connected to using this device, my own common sense and knowledge lead me to believe otherwise so I did proceed with caution and not as zealous as others.
I do not think it should be used by people with kidney or liver disease, the toxicity can cause issues and stress those organs. None of those warnings were included with the blaster. I think some results as seen in pictures in the group can be caused by simple tissue swelling.
There has long been a school of thought that a simple increase in blood flow can reduce the appearance of cellulite. So ...My advice is, research and decide if the possible health risk is worth the possible reward, stay in tune with your body and listen to it and if it reacts negatively. Discontinue. I will probably continue to use it, while monitoring how I feel and how my body reacts to it.
I think people might see things that aren't there BUT I also do think some people have had dramatic real results (combined with healthy eating and exercise as well as blasting
I think that like all "products" results may vary and there is not the "help" and enthusiasm offered those that are struggling. This was posted today in the FB group and illustrates the point that one should proceed with caution, this might be more powerful and disruptive to the body than what we think.
Here is the post, "I'm very new to this. I ordered my FB in late August, started blasting and had a blood panel done late September. My blood work showed crazy levels of cellular damage and high liver toxicity and more that I have NO time to go into. Is this from blasting?"
I have no idea the validity of her claim and only share it as a warning to others (and also because the post will be deleted within a short period of time.
Many, many perceived "negative" posts get deleted from the Facebook group, these range from posting about serious health issues people believe were caused by using the blaster to anything that questions the validity of the "inventor" or the process. It simply is not tolerated.
Hence my review here. I highly advise you to educate yourself on the use, yes it does need to be maintained, there are many that claim once quitting or taking a break their cellulite not only reverted to what it was or became WORSE upon stopping (and honestly the fb group is tightly regulated posts and members are deleted for perceived criticism and negative posts (showing or commenting on how bad their results are that it is unknown how many are NOT getting good results)
I and others who were in there from the beginning have seen how the protocol for use has changed MASSIVELY since the beginning, Ashley herself was not aware of all the product could do, both good and bad. Many women were product testers and paid for the privilege to do so, and not just with their cash, but with their health, many have possibly irreversible damage caused by following the advice of this self proclaimed "guru" and "expert". Myself included.
I am concerned at the claims of "this is a miracle tool" for everything from menopause to plantar fasciitis, come on people nothing is a panacea.

The Fasciablaster ruined by body. I used to have an hourglass shape and butt. I just wanted to sculpt it a little bit more and get rid of a few dimples on my thighs. Now I have this wide stomach that I have never had in my life had and my butt is no longer a sexy booty! I'm beside myself. I don't want to even mention the amount of cellulite that has now taken over my butt and thighs. Wth is this? I thought this thing was supposed to help you look better not worse? I eat healthy, work out 5 days a week I try Ashley Guru's Fasciablaster and my body gets ruined? I'm literally in pain in so many places since using this damn thing. I don't even know what to do anymore. How am I going to get my shape back?

Even though Ashley Black offers "coaching" it usually involves a complete lifestyle change of diet and exercise. That was not how the device was advertised. It was advertised to reduce cellulite. There were no "results not typical" fine print. She claims it works 100% for 100% of people. Not true and it is possibly causing serious health issues.

I'm just waiting for the lawsuit. I want in on that!

This tool has absolutely ruined my skin. All her talk of getting rid of cellulite and tightening your skin was a bunch of BS! I'm 54 years old. I have been working out doing weights and cardio for four years. I also eat clean most of the time. I was able to lose over 50 pounds and thought this tool would help me. I wish I had never heard of the fasciablaster!

How did it ruin your skin? Do you have before and after pics?
December 19, 2017
If I knew what a mess I’d be after using this I would have before and after pics. The only pics I have are too far to see the varicose and spider veins weren’t there prior to using. Do you really think women took up close photos of their skin? Your request is silly.

This is so scary! I've been FBing for over 8 months but have backed off quite a bit over the last month or so. I feel like it "moves the fat around", which is why some people have great before and after pics of specific body parts. I feel like I worked so much on my lower body that now my stomach and upper body seem to have gotten bigger. My theory is that it just moves the fat to a new place but doesn't actually get rid of it or "lyce" fat cells like they claim it does.
April 19, 2017
I completely agree! At first I didn't put the 2 together. I thought something was wrong with me but I realized that ever since I started FBing I started gaining a belly and my body was changing. My thighs were getting bigger and I wasn't as tight as I used to be. The FB loosened up my fascia and moved around my fat to other places on my body. I look horrible now! I want my body back!

Interesting I was thinking of buying one but now it looks like I shouldn't

Key points to understand about the "fasciablaster" and the people promoting it.

1) Ms Black has no medical background. She holds not one professional license. It can't even be confirmed that she has a college degree. She is not a scientist. not a Scientist.
2. Kathleen Stross is NOT a neuroscientist. She is a specialized Physical Therapist.
3. Bart Jameson is an Athletic Trainer. My understanding is he only has a few years under his belt. Also, my understanding is an AT must work under supervision of a MD which he does not.
4. The Fascia Blaster is REGISTERED with the FDA as a Class 1 device. Much like dental floss or treadmills. It is not a FDA approved device.
5. Her study she loves to refer to is 100% BOGUS. In no way would it qualify as a clinical study or trial. Only 33 women completed the study. All were healthy (read the terms and conditions. It states this is for use by healthy individuals and use at your own risk). Several were personal friends. 1 actually works for her. Many had been blasting for months prior to the study. A casting call by an infomercial queen(photo below) was put out to find the participants.
She refuses to publish the results. She refuses to allow the results to be reviewed by the medical community or anyone else.
6. She states use will not affect hormones. Then she says it releases Irisin. See photo for what it does. Many women here are experiencing horrible hormonal issues. If you have been active on the Fasciablasters page you will see many women talk about changes in their periods. At 45 Ms. Black herself admits in a video that she is on HRT now.
7. Most every comment concerning questions from women experiencing side effects is either never approved or deleted. The poster is then also blocked and deleted. Hence some of the deep hurt here.
8. Many of the photos she uses are altered. Some have even come from plastic surgery websites. One set of photos is actually her. Those photos were taken just moments apart and altered to appear as if it was a transformation. She has been caught using the photos saying it is her and then saying it was someone else. She has even used a photo of a women that was 8 months pregnant as the before and then 4 or 5 months postpartum as the transformational after. Never stating the woman was pregnant in the photo. Photo attached.
9. After many women came forward publicly about their injuries Ms. Black changed the Terms & Conditions. Those changes were made on May 22, 2017.
10. In video(s) and a podcast(s) she refers to her then husband, now ex, Dari Samia as Dr. Dari. Dari had been a nurse but due to multiple DUIs had to relinquish his nursing credentials. He states he can get the license back if he wants it but that still leaves him as a nurse and NOT a doctor.
11. The reviews on the Guru page are very skewed. Many woman myself, were blocked before ever being able to leave reviews. I would venture to guess that at least 50% of us are blocked. If you want to leave your review please do so quickly. If you don't have time to review go there and just leave a few words on the review page. You can later go back and edit.
12. I think it is noteworthy also that up until yesterday, 6/24/17, the business address listed on the Ashley Black Guru page was that of a day spa in Manhattan Beach. Yesterday that address was changed to the address of her attorney. He is her registered representative. Also, this company provides no customer service phone number. Customer service can only be reached via email. Frequently emails are not returned or it takes a week(s). Many times multiple emails must be sent for a response. I don't know of a single multimillion dollar company that does not offer a customer service phone number. When questioned about this the response was we are working on it. It will take a few months.
13. The International Fascial committee knows nothing about Assley Black and she has never once attended any of their conferences. She said because after researching them she felt that her studies were taking her in a different direction. Why not share your work with them? Why not have your work peer reviewed?
She is a huge scam artist preying on women's insecurities. Utter disgust in how she runs a business

Many, Many, damaged women have been coming forward, apparently raking through the connective tissue harms many systems of the body, from hormones to the adrenal system,THIS is very different than manual massage, this breaks the ties that connect your skin to the fascia causing crepe skin and sagging. I won't even get into the trolling behavior of this company, fake profiles, fake reviews from her staff, systematic suppression of undesirable results and reviews. This woman is a con and should go to jail for the harm she has caused myself and other women and lies she has perpetrated. Same problems as above. Is there anything that can be done to correct the damage
