CO2 Laser Real Time Review

My skin is still pink/reddish--it looks lime I exerted myself at the gym or got some sun. It is not noticeable. You can still see some lines/tracks from the laser of you look carefully but no one notices it unless I point it out. My skin feels tighter, my fine lines are diminishing or gone, my sun damage is mostly gone (hard to tell with the redness but it appears so). Overall I recommend it.

Curious- Do you think those tracks/lines from laser are temporary? I did this procedure twice before and never had any permanent tracks or lines from it at all.

I think it is temporary. At least, I am not worried at this time. I continue to use the ZO skin lightening system per my PA. I also chose a "moderate" setting instead of "light" which I guess most people get (the light). I will continue to post and let people know if the lines stay.

Thanks for response. Yes, it could be because you did a deeper treatment and it will take longer for any traces to be gone. Let us know--and thank you again for being so complete in your review.

PRP Option

LexiMom1920
I spoke earlier that I did PRP and it wasn't anything I was too impressed with...that was incorrect. I did microneedling and only 1 treatment and therefore didn't notice any change. The PRP portion I did not do (using your own blood/plasma on your face post treatment including microneedling and laser). I asked my provider about it and she DID do the PRP after doing the CO2 laser and noticed that it alleviated the sting faster post-laser. So my apologies for the earlier error. I now wish I had tried that because my face stung a lot post-treatment.

Thank you for that further comment about PRP and if it has any real advantages. Some believe (including many plastic surgeons and board certified derms.) that it really does further help stimulate underlying skin tissues, speed the healing of the microneedle or C02, etc. and continues to help skin repair over time. I just don't know if it's worth it or not--more expensive to include the PRP obviously. Thanks again for noting the difference with and without in the stinging after your laser.

Your skin looks beautiful. Congratulations on wonderful results and I appreciate you sharing all of this. I'm suppose to get Erbium Laser under my eyes, and I really need it! But I'm scared...

2 week check up

LexiMom1920
Using the Visia system, I have lost 7 years off my face in 2 weeks. My crows feet are one of the most noticeable improvements as well as overall texture. I should keep improving in the coming months.

What treatment did you have? And any before treatment pics that compare?
