Okay so I go get my new boobs on the 2nd of October! I'm super excited. Also I'm nervous... I'm afraid of going too large or too small and I'm also worried about how I will take care of my kids. I'm a single mom of a 4 & 3 year old. My ex husband isn't very helpful and neither is my family. For the most part this surgery is my little secret. I may choose to tell people afterwards but I don't want the stress of negative comments beforehand. Then afterwards anyone who has a problem will have to get over it! My money and my body! So anyways... I used to be a full 36 c before my kids. Now from breast feeding and losing/gaining weight so fast with the pregnancies my boobs are a so 36b deflated. They lost the round perkyness to them:( I really want to feel more confident with them again. I dread wearing swimming suits and tight shirts because my boobs don't match my curvy body at all. Oh I'm 5'7 160lbs. So back to my new boobies! I'm thinking 500-600cc moderate profile under the muscle saline. Any advice/input would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for taking the time to start your review! You definitely will want to have some help the first 24 hours post op since you will still have anesthesia in your body and most likely some pain medication too. Start working with your kids now, having them practice doing little things on their own. Getting in and out of the car, buckling, etc. Just pretend you can't lift your arms and see what else you need to adjust before your surgery. For example, you won't be able to reach up into a cupboard or push open a heavy door or drive. You might also want to have a few little "rewards" on hand for your children when they do things on their own or help you out. ;) Be sure to ask other single moms for any tips and hints. Good luck and keep us posted!

Thanks for the advice! I started this morning with my kids dressing themselves, getting into our truck by themselves, and walking into daycare. My son is 3 years old and loves for mommy to carry him every where but he is a tall boy and nearly weighs 50lbs. My surgery is less than 2 weeks away but hopefully I'll have them more independent by then that way our normal routine won't strain me too much! Starting to get a little nervous but still mainly excited!

Oh good, glad the kiddos on on their way to becoming a bit more independent! ;) (It's so hard, isn't it? I'm just a softie and carried my little ones all the time!) Still hoping you'll have a friend over to help out the first 24-48 hours when you'll most likely be on pain medicine.

Hello Kitkat17 I got my BA two weeks ago, I'm 5'6 148 pounds. I'm 47 have two grown up boys. I was divorced for 12 years and recently remarried a year ago. I had always a very small breast A one side and almost B on the other one, nothing got better after pregnancies and breastfeeding as I always thought. My breast stayed perky but the difference in sizes got worse, very asymmetrical. I decided after many years to get a BA and didn't tell anybody, only my husband witch is very supportive. Nobody at works knows and I feel nobody needs to know because is only my business. At the beginning I was considering to go 500cc but the more I thought and read I wanted something bigger but still to look natural so I change my mind the day of the surgery I decided to go bigger 600cc, and I am so happy I did, Dr Lawton did an amazing job, is only been two weeks but my breast looks amazing! Go by with you feel it will make you happy! Good luck!

Dr. Grado did mine in July and they look pretty amazing! Im so glad yours went well. In a few months you will be even happier. They just get better and you won’t look like a woman that got a boob job!

So I had my surgery today!!!! Discussed size again with my doctor before the surgery. We decide on 330 over filled to 360. We wanted me to have great longer term results and said that smaller was the way to look more natural and still have a wonderful look afters years. I'm glad I choose to go smaller so far. I'm sure later on that I might want them bigger but anything is better than what I had! I was really happy with my doctor and all the staff at the surgery centre if anyone is near Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Dr. Grado was amazing. I highly recommend him to anyone!

That size is perfect because you can make them look like 500s with a good bra but they look good and you have a good chance for long term good results. I agree with your doc on that!! Congrats!! So glad you did this for yourself. What a gift!!!!
