I. Love. My. Breasts!!!
I never genuinely believed getting implants would change me, but they have. I feel proportionate. I am physically bigger in the chest, but my whole body feels smaller. I workout and eat right, because I've realized that feeling good is an investment. My sex life is improved. My confidence is rightfully high. And I feel feminine as all hell. As for the implants themselves, they've softened and dropped, and seem like they've always belonged. My upper body strength is back, and the scarring, which was quite obvious at first, is a small white hidden line.
Incredibly happy :)

BethyJ's provider

Dr. Simon Rosenbaum

Upon entering Simon's office, he shook my hand, smiled, and actually sat next to me at his desk, rather than across. He then proceeded to take an entire medical history, discussing how I feel about myself in general, rather than being breast-focussed. We played with some sizers, he did some measurements and took some photos and allowed me to play with and feel the different implants. Simon recommended 240cc teardrop implants as my max. size, due to my chest size (9.5cm) and small tissue amounts, but promised to see if bigger would fit on the surgical day. I was then given free-run on his computer to look at whichever before and after pictures of patients I wanted. This "30min" appointment lasted an hour. What brilliant bedside manner and care. I was sold. And at $12,600, it was affordable

You look fantastic! You chose the perfect size!
What's your bra size post-op? In American sizing? Lol
I'm an RN as well! How long did it take to get back to work? I work on a busy MedSurg unit and I'm afraid I'll need extra time off. You look stunning!!
I was back after just 10 days! I work ED and a medical ward, couldn't lift my arms above my shoulders to save my life but no one noticed and I just refused to move anything other anyone heavy, which we should be doing anyway! I am actually more aware of my back safety now and have kept the protective habit! That being said, my friend is also an RN and required a month off! Different pain tolerance I guess! I was back in to poke dancing 10 weeks later
Thanks so much for sharing!!!!
They look great. Im going to dr rosenbaum in 4 weeks.im excited and nervous! How was tour recovery ??

Did you go under the muscle ? Or over ? I loving this site trying to get as much info I can before I make the big op . I had two kids and breast feed both now have nothing , previously I was the same as your pre op Were you scared about the tear drops ..?
Hey lovely, Thank you so so much for sharing your story, I'm just under 21 days until I get surgery with Dr Rosenbaum, and am getting exciting, nervous, but your story has definitely assisted with me remaining confident! Can I ask whether you got above or under the muscle? I ask this as I am a fitness girl too who gets pretty low in body fat when competing, just just interested in knowing this detail is you care to share! Thanks :) x
Oops! I never saw your reply! Sorry hun. I went under the muscle and am currently 6 months post Op. It's honestly amazing how much they're settled. I forget that I even had surgery sometimes. All the best with your surgery, Rosenbaum is short and sweet.

Sick with 1 week to go... :(

So today is 1 week before I'm scheduled for surgery. And I am unwell.
Yesterday I was hoping for it to be just a simple cold, but it has unfortunately spread to my chest. No signs of infection yet, but I know that I will have to call the clinic by Monday at least. Can I still have surgery? I've heard of cases being cancelled with any signs of respiratory illness prior. Sad :(
