I know it may sound cliche to say I should have...

I know it may sound cliche to say I should have done this years ago but it's true!! Absolutely one of the best decisions of my life. From consultation to follow up Dr Stoeckel and his team were wonderful. Very approachable, kind and put me at ease immediately. I would not hesitate to reccomend. My results (photos coming) have been stellar with very little downtime and his lollipop technique has been great with little scaring that I expect will fade even more over time.

Like many on this board I was an early developer and by freshman year of high school was in a d cup. I honestly hated my breasts. They were low slung, pendulous slabs that I would wear two to three bras to try and make look somewhat normal. Forget spaghetti straps or cute bras. I was in the matronly $100 ones from the get go. I am 5"6 and wear a six in pants but would have to buy size 14 shirts and have them altered. It was misery.

I had researched for years but for this reason and that not bitten the bullet and seen a surgeon. After a series of life events I decided it was time to do something for me for a change. I informed my husband what I was planning, he was super supportive and I set off to find my surgeon.

The initial consultation with Dr Stoeckel was in depth and he took his time to explain the procedure and answer all questions I had. I knew right away (after having checked out other ps in the area) that this is where I wanted my surgery to happen and booked a date

As surgery neared, dr Stoeckels team was wonderful in guiding me through how to prepare and get ready for my big day

Day of surgery I arrived at 7. They took me immediately back and I got in a super warm and comfy operating bed. Within what seemed like a few minutes (was a couple of hours in reality) I was done and my husband was picking me up.

He got me food and I went home to rest. I did get sick one time but felt it was from the pain reliever. Since there really was not a lot of discomfort I did not take any other of the prescription pain meds and was very comfortable

I was a 36h to begin with and have settled into a 36 d. Personally I could have gone smaller but went with the doctor felt was appropriate for my body size. I am very pleased with the outcome and when I look back at what they looked like before I can hardly believe it.

I took one week off of work and was up walking around and out of the house by end of day two, post surgery. By the time I got back to work I was still a little stiff and some swelling but had no problems especially as I have a very physical job working with children. I was careful on not lifting at home/work but other than that was back on track very quickly and fully back at the gym within six weeks.

By early May all of my swelling subsided and I was able to do some fun bra shopping. Also friends family noted they thought I had lost a lot of weight. I only told a few people as I didn't want any "opinions" as to my decision

Scaring has been minimal. The doctor did a lollipop incision which has healed beautifully. I have used no scar treatment, only kept the tape on for several weeks per doctors suggestion. My scar is flat, light and I expect by next year will be barely visible.

Honestly it's been amazing. I can wear clothes that flatter instead of hide, not walk with my arms perennially folded in front of me or shoulders rolled forward with the sheer weight of my breasts. It's truly been a life changer.

If you are on the fence I say go for it. If you are lucky enough to live near I would reccomend Dr Stoeckel highly. Heck, even if you need to travel to get here, he is worth it for the outstanding results.

Where's a moderator when you need one? I don't know why that spammer is trying to get you to take steroids. But don't do it. Your outcome is wonderful.
I know.. Gotta love the trolls...
