Update 540ccs!
So my surgery happened on Friday. The doctor says everything went beautifully and woo! I've got some knockers now! But ladies...LAAYYY-DEEESSS the struggle was so real that first day!
Everyone is different and I have read so many reviews about people going to dinner that first night and doing all kinds of normal things, that I definitely underestimated how bad I would feel. I was extremely nauseated and in a lot of pain those first few hours. I hope that anyone reading this has the more simple experience that I've seen others report, but for me I was miserable and had to take a lot of hydrocodone, with promethazine to help with the nausea.
I wish I had done more icing in the first 48 hours, because that's when it helps most with the swelling and recovery. My post-op appt with the doctor went well. He helped me practice putting on my support garment and strap the right way and talked with me about the size of the implants I ended up with-540ccs. I knew there was chance he would go larger, but I'm glad that he did.
They're high up now while my body's figuring out with to do with these new accessories, with that weird shape new implants have. I'm looking forward to seeing the drop and fluff.
I took my last hydrocodone on Saturday night so about 36 hours after surgery because I really didn't like they way they made me feel, so now I'm just taking aleve and the antibiotic prescribed twice a day. I was so constipated and bloated! I had my first bowel movement today even with all the colace I had been taking with Friday. I keep drinking water and tea to flush things but I'm still super bloated.
Most of my pain now is at the incision sites. As far as my chest goes it's mostly just pressure although I have had a couple of stinging pains in my left areola. It does kind of hurt to sit up though. I have a high bed and have been using a stool to get out. I'm sleeping propped up on a bunch of pillows but to get back completely vertical, I'm using my core but I'm still kinda terrified that I'm using my chest muscles to sit up. Tonight I'm just going to sleep on the couch because it's easier for me to get up from there.
Any advice for how to get out of bed without using my chest muscles at all?

Pre-op was yesterday I am TEN DAYS OUT! WOO!
My pre-op appointment went very well.
What I really felt good about is how my PS told me in detail what I said I wanted in the consult. He must have a really good memory/note taking skills! We talked about the size but how the he'll have a range of sizes in surgery, to make sure the aesthetics will make me happy. After these talks I really trust his judgement.
The nurse went over a bunch of handouts that I took home about pre-op and post-op procedures. She had a BA too, so it was really great to talk about her experience and recovery. We even talked about how some emotional things could happen and how even though once I'm off narcotics and go back to work, for several days I may feel extremely tired by the afternoon, because my body is hard at work healing.
One standout thing I hadn't heard yet is to stop ALL multivitamins not just supplements like Vitamin E or fish oil, as well as green tea (which I love and drink most evenings) 2 weeks before-little late for me-but definitely 10 days before because they all can effect bleeding and recovery post surgery. Also, everyone keeps talking about breast massage, but because I'll get textured, shaped not smooth, round that's a big no-no. Hadn't heard that before.
My advice for the pre-op appointment is have a list of follow-up questions from your consult, if you want more details about anything you missed or don't remember something. I also, wrote a lot of notes on the handouts they gave me, my nurse highlighted a bunch of things for me too.
And if you're on here, then you've probably read a lot of things on the internet. Don't feel sheepish about asking your PS and/or nurses questions about these things, because you don't want something stuck in your head that may work for some members of the online community, but that your PS recommends against based on you as an individual.

I've been looking through this website for almost...
I've been looking through this website for almost a year. But I've wanted larger breasts for over half my life. Going from being a slim teenager to a plus-sized woman almost over night, my boobs never seemed to want to catch up to my hips. I'm a curvy girl missing the top half the of track 36-30-46. But it wasn't until after I had my consultation a couple of weeks ago that I realized I didn't have some crucial information. Being a plus-sized woman makes my breast augmentation experience somewhat different from that of a slim build woman. So, although I wasn't planning on writing a review, to help other women with a similar build I am going to share my experience.
Based on most of the reviews that I read with women wanting to go up 2-3 cup sizes, I had this number in my head of 310-350cc because that seemed to be the average. So when my PS suggested at least 490cc I was shocked, I thought this guy thinks I should look like an extra fluffy Jessica Rabbit. And even when I tried on the sizers with the nurse, I just had that number in my head and initially thought I look silly, this is too much.
But of course, these people don't charge by the cc, their only interest in me going bigger is that they want me to be happy with the way that I look. That's how they have such a great reputation. In well over ten years of doing this, my PS has seen thousands of boobs, as a professional he knows what works. And if you've seen the reviews of women with "boob greed" then you know that regret over not going big enough is a real thing. If I'm taking the physical and financial toll for getting a BA, then I want to be ecstatically happy with the results.
The other surprise I had, was in the type of implant I should get. I thought I wanted silicone round when I went in for my consult, but my PS explained that because my breasts are each about 15 cm wide (again being a plus sized woman I didn't consider my boobs are wider than the average), a round implant would of course be also 15 cm high and that would definitely not give me the natural look I want. He showed me the Natrelle textured anatomical gummy bear implants. (These do cost more than round, but not significantly more when you're getting a several thousand dollar surgery. Again since I'm making this investment, I want the best results for me.)
So my advice so far is 1. if you're a plus sized woman like me prepared to go bigger than "average" to get the look that you want 2. if you found a PS that you trust, then TRUST that person. I'm not a professional plastic surgeon, so I don't know what I need to get the results I'm picturing. Speaking of pictures! I am including my consultation sim boobs! They're so fun to look at. I'm also including my wish boobs, of plus sized models Ashley Graham, Tabria Majors, Shelah Marie.
Next up for me is my pre-op appointment on Monday. For those who have gone through this before any advice for questions that I should ask? My PS already answered a lot of questions about recovery and what to expect. Are there any questions that you wished you had asked or things you wish you had known before getting a BA?
