Smartxide DOT Laser with Subcision and Dermal Filler for Acne Scarring

Having severe cystic acne as a teenager left me with some very deep scarring over my entire face. Taking a multiple-step approach, Dr. Surowitz combined subcision, DOT CO2 Laser, and dermal filler (Restylane Silk). Three-months post DOT laser procedure, my skin is noticably smoother and scarring looks much softer. I've had quite a few compliments. As well as people asking what I had done, because it looks great. Although laser treatment is a more costly option with significant downtime and post-op care, it is well worth it. I would do it again. Using filler for some of the deeper depressions that stood out after having laser made a dramatic difference as well. I never felt rushed, pressured, or unable to ask questions. Great experience from start to finish with all people involved.
