Having severe cystic acne as a teenager left me...
Having severe cystic acne as a teenager left me with some very deep scarring over my entire face. Taking a multiple-step approach, Dr. Surowitz combined subcision, DOT CO2 Laser, and dermal filler (Restylane Silk). Three-months post DOT laser procedure, my skin is noticably smoother and scarring looks much softer. I've had quite a few compliments. As well as people asking what I had done, because it looks great. Although laser treatment is a more costly option with significant downtime and post-op care, it is well worth it. I would do it again. Using filler for some of the deeper depressions that stood out after having laser made a dramatic difference as well. I never felt rushed, pressured, or unable to ask questions. Great experience from start to finish with all people involved.

Dr. Surowitz is very knowledgable and doesn't leave anything out when it comes to benefits, risks, expectations, etc. He also makes himself available after-hours for any questions/concerns and takes the time to check on how the healing process is going. He has an excellent bedside manner creating a comfortable atmosphere putting you at ease. Highly reccomended.
